From what I have seen so far (but feel free to correct me if I am wrong) OW2 will not have the typical 6v6 “push the payload yourself” mode or team point capture that OW1 has, along with the arcade modes, etc. From what i know currently, it simply just has a lot of archive event modes with lore you can play over and over again or you play the one 6V6 mode with the robot pushing the payload which is the closest thing we will get to a typical 6V6 game. So far, unless they state OW2 will have comp, arcade mode, web browser, etc, then I can see why people will not move to OW1. OW1 will still have a lot of modes OW2 doesn’t have, at least so far.
Personally, I am all for lore so OW2 will be for me. Along with more cosmetics so I am excited.
