Overwatch 2 is being reported by MULTIPLE sources

Likewise no reason to assume anything whatsoever about it.

Hence my original post : “I hope it’s literally anything other than a competitive shooter.”

Maybe he should be banned from Blizz too

He’d still find a way. He always does. No idea how he does it, or any of the really good leak scoop people do it really. Most people are bad at it and fall for obvious fakes all the time.

Meanwhile at blizzard HQ:

Employee: "LOL I told the guys who just got fired I was working on Overwatch 2! "

How much you guys want to bet Overwatch 2 is a mobile game?

how much do you want to bet it’s not overwatch 2?

It might just be another game set in the OW universe tentatively titled OW2.

Even more reason for people to not cling to it or overreact like they are.

Yea that seems far more likely when you look at Jason’s scoop through the lens of Brack’s interview with game informer. It didn’t sound like another hero shooter.

If it happens, hope they bring back what made OW so charming to begin with. I want my Sym 2.0 and Mercy 1.0s to be playable

If anything I’d like an OW MMO, but I don’t plan on getting my hopes up for it.

Click bait. 9 character

I would have loved a FPS Starcraft game. I remember they were doing Ghost (Nova) but it cancelled. Nova is my fave character!

Time will tell for Overwatch 2 but I have high doubts; it won’t come soon (next few years) anyway I predict.

Let’s delete WoW then.

I wouldn’t either. It could easily be a mobile game too, which would be not great. I respect Jason’s ability to get scoops but I think they are putting too much emphasis on the working title of that game and setting expectations too high as a result.

But the Brack interview, an official source no less, saying their might be some kind of game in the works within the franchise is ofc less attention grabbing than Jason scooping OW2.

I doubt it would do anything substantial to the wow market or they wouldn’t have started making Titan in the first place. Worst case scenario, WoW gets scrapped because their users go to OW for something new and their player base is gone. Not so bad scenario, both thrive since they have different dedicated audiences.

That’s because Brack saying it isn’t new. We knew last year they were expanding all of their IPs. Brack isn’t as attention grabbing as Mike was, let alone shiny clickbait Kotaku articles

this makes me very very cautious about calling it OW2:

Overwatch 2 (or whatever it winds up being called)

Yeah. I suppose. Just seems like him comparing what’s going on to WoW and Hearthstone would make people set their expectations a bit lower.

Like what if OW2 is a trading card game?

Even so, some WoW players are migrating to FFXIV, so it doesn’t that they are very dedicated.
