You should be fine. Twitch holds the rewards for a few days until a linked BattleNet account is established.

Can install OW2 beta in the next morning even though i claimed it ?

Watched my four hours, been waiting around 30 minutes. I have claimed it on my drops page, but it still won’t show up whatsoever. I’ve tried restarting over and over, launching and quitting OW1, checking for updates, switching regions, even changing to blizzard launcher beta. All for naught, nothing, still.

I’m Still very confused why I’m getting the “Error Occurred: Drop was not claimed.” error on Twitch itself. Both sides, Twitch and battle.net, are connected to each other, and I have procured enough watch time to get the drop.

Could there have been an issue with name changing? Because my Twitch connection was showing my old name and my battle net wasn’t showing a connection at all.

Once you claim it, your account on BattleNet should show the “Overwatch 2 Tech Beta” server in the version list. You can install it whenever you like.

That could be an issue. You may need to start a ticket with Blizzard Customer Service for assistance if you claimed the drop and it is not showing on your account.

It’s been 20 minutes since I claimed the recommendation and it still doesn’t appear, this is !!! It is unacceptable!!!

If I have the drop and claimed it, but hadn’t updated my battle.net account to twitch until after, will I still get access? It’s the same account and email but a different name.

so how long does it take after reward to get downloading? It’s now nearly half an hour after claiming on twitch? linking is correct, already checked everything :frowning:

I suggest strongly to contact blizzard customer support and ask to help with a description of your specific case.
WyomingMyst is doing “unpaid community support” and may get a shirt for free some day but is not your “official support contact”.

PS: WyomingMyst is goat, not that anyone mistakes this. I am merely saying for any “specific” situations not fitting the “norm” of the drop process you probably get help faster if you directly contact the official customer support.

I have it shown on my client, but it keeps scanning files and when it is done and I click on update it says “Oops smth went wrong”. I cannot install it at all. It keeps going like that for 5 minutes now.
