So, I was also really confused at first. Then I saw the experimental card and I get it. They banned her and Baptiste because they have changes in the experimental mode that they want you to test drive.

I have a feeling hero pools won’t return for season 22 unless you’re 3500+. It just seems like fixing an issue that doesn’t exist for most players

The devs stated themselves the hero bans on ladder would be handpicked.
That being said, it looks like the bans are severely outdated from the meta two months ago.

Just throw. It isn’t competitive anymore. Randomly putting people at a disadvantage in a competitive environment on a game like this with characters like these destroys the competitive aspect.

Hero pools are a bad idea doesn’t matter which heroes get banned… Specially in a game with such a small hero pool and where each characters has such specific and individual habilities and playstyles, making it that banning one singls hero (and we are banning 4) immedietly cuts away a number of strategies we can play during this time

She needs a buff but she’s not that bad
Hero bans shouldn’t include tanks and supports tbh. Since there are not many heroes in those categories.

Yeah? And I only like to play one of the tanks. Tanks have such poor variety… how is it my fault I only like one of the playstyles?
That would defeat the whole purpose of Hero Bans and would make it to where the metas would remain stagnant, regardless of what DPS heroes are banned.

Why even complain if a hero got banned that apparently not even id playable? You just salty because your one trick got banned.
Maybe look at with whom she got banned. I, for example, would be pissed if they banned my winston with reaper and doom. That your one trick would be banned at some point is unavoidable. Why the uproar? You guys make no sense…

It’s almost like tanks have different playstyles and every character is very unique so telling some people they don’t have the option to perform at their very best regardless of if they can or can’t play other characters in the role is utter bs since everyone plays a certain hero better than the others regardless of how big the margin is.

So banning 1 Tank, 2 DPS and 1 Support is a fair ratio.
Here, to make it visually easier to discern I’ll split the DPS evenly into two groups.
8 Tanks (ban 1 Tank)
8 DPS: group A (ban 1 DPS)
8 DPS: group B (ban 1 DPS)
7 Supports (ban 1 Support)
Probably, next week Reinhardt is banned so you can show off your Orisa skillz (so do I).
