Me too! I just hope to god that they will start giving the pops more of a unique pose instead of them just standing in a straight one like before.

With sombras old one i thought it was cool how they added her hack, but i would love to see some changes on that part.

I hope they make her hair look a little better. on her old one it looks so weird and not like hair lol

I mean her hair basically looks just like everyone else hair, sure it might not look that great but i still think her pop is very cool.

I doubt they will use new material for funko pops so i’m pretty sure the hair will look the same but obvi molded like her ow2 look.

I don’t think they will either, ofc they will add the cable things in her hair and upgrade her design etc but everything else will probably stay the same.

But like i said earlier i’m still hoping for new poses instead of basic ones where they’re just standing in a straight line.

I think it would be cool if they could maybe start doing poses based on victory poses or even emotes, maybe sombra could have one where she poses with the marionetta emote? Or anything like that

Well it does seem like they do have plans to make Sigma and Echo through this reply on Twitter. (The link was pain to get to since the guy who originally asked this has me blocked on Twitter)

I’m really not one for POP figures, but the plush toys are adorable. I really hope they do more for OW2.

There’ll 100% be a huge spike in merch leading upto OW2, as is typical for a lot of other AAA game releases now. Game stores near me are stocking up on a lot of Halo stuff right now, with Halo Infinite being two months away.

It’s just strange to me if they will start releasing ow2 re-design pops when those two have yet to recieve theirs with the ow1 design

Tracer & Genji are two super popular heroes - Sigma/Echo’s relatively recent releases probably didn’t help them here.

There’s a good chance both these two won’t get OW2 redesigns either, so POP figures of their current skins releasing during the OW2 POP releases won’t really look out of place.

This is simething i honestly don’t get, why is it that just because sigma and echo are new heroes they shouldn’t recieve new re-designs? I’m sure they will also get new ones because it would seem so out of place and super random for those two to not get something new.

Maybe there is just some delay or they wait for OW2’s release.

edit: for example pre-orders for some other funkos were cancelled (Slifer, Dr. Strange etc. iirc). idk why… maybe some things are just delayed (although we knew what the other ones would look like).

Yeah maybe i just can’t wait to see what the new pops will look like! I really hope they will release one with mercy in her ow2 design, i’ve been wanting a pop with her new design ever since it got revealed

And not to mention a new mercy statue with her ow2 design! I would die happy if i could get my hands on that

On release of OW2 or just after would be my guess. We haven’t even seen all the hero redesigns yet. Would be a pretty big spoiler if they dropped new funkos with new hero redesigns we haven’t seen yet. Usually merch comes out around the time of game/movie/show release, which is still some 6 months away or more.

Yeah i know that but that’s why i was thinking if they would start doing waves, so like wave 1 of the new pops with ow2 re-designs could be lucio, mercy, rein & winston.

The 2nd wave could be mei, widow reaper & pharah

And then the 3rd could be mccree, torbjörn, baptiste & sombra.

Or maybe they could do it in another order lol.

I was never thinking they would get ahead of themselves and release new pops with skins that has yet to be revealed, i was only thinking that IF originalfunko were to reveal new funko pops with ow2 they would only show us pops with the skins we’ve already seen.

Knowing i’ve been waiting for a few months for more updates about this i know it probably isn’t happening anytime soon so maybe they are waiting for the game to release first, and then reveal the new funko pops and the other stuff they talked about.
