Opening options causes game to reload

This is a 2-part issue:

1. Options takes a long time to load,
2. If I’m in options when a game is found, it will pull me out of the game and reload it. Then, my team is already out of spawn when I finally load in. Seems like some sort of state machine issue.

Interesting. Never had this issue. Have you tried to repair the installation using the Battle net launcher for starters?

Also, it looks like this was an issue for some people not to long ago and seems to possibly be related to software outside the OW program.

Freeze when opening options menu

Hey! I have been looking for other posts on this issue but have found none. Whenever I click on the options tab my game freezes for about 5-10 seconds. When in windowed mode you can see that the application says “not responding” in this time. Then the game finally opens options. I have tried uninstalling the game and battlenet in addition to repairing files. Does anyone have a clue to why this is happening?

I have actually had the issue since beta. I’ll keep looking around to see what others have said. But, I don’t have many programs running on my PC to help with performance in general. But, this is a good place to start investigating I supposed. It takes like 5-10 seconds for my options menu to open like the post you have their says.
