Honestly mercy needs something beyond just a flat buff, she needs some sort of lever to control her own output. Give her staff an R ability or something.

Idk what’s worse though, a stun that guarantees a kill or a homing grenade that’ll still basically guarantee a kill. Why couldn’t they have given him something that takes a little more skill is my question?

I find statements like this to be hilarious. Genuinely no offense. :slight_smile: BUT the first thing lots of people say is… just hide… run away and wait for regen.

HIDE. Not fun.
RUN AWAY. Not fun.
PASSIVE ABILITIES… not fun.

People are here to play the game and use their abilities. With two tanks, a shield, some peel, and CC, you could DO THAT as support. You could position yourself behind the frontline and feel sort of safe.

Now? Sojourn, Widow, Hanzo, Cassidy, Ashe… any number of heroes (mostly hitscan) can oneshot you (or there abouts) and your team has MUCH less to deal with that threat.

And, yes, OF COURSE your team can do that too, but that isn’t YOU. That isn’t Support players to anywhere near the same degree as it is DPS players.

I’m not sure what rank(s) the problem will occur at, BUT, I reckon there’ll either be a BIG support exodus (because hiding and playing scared and waiting sucks) or there’ll be a big breakdown in teamplay because no-one will want to play anything other than assassin Kiriko, Reddit Lucio, or DPS Moira.

Blizzard need to check oneshots, hitscan range, and support hero offensive capability.

If you were constantly getting flashbang’d you are just bad at the game. Not sorry.

The real problems with Overwatch start before you even get to pick characters so not sure why you think this matters

Yeah, I mean, I don’t really play FPS games to, erm, “feel safe”, but you do you I guess.

and you don’t see how removing doubleshield, cc, and 2cp goes a long way to making spawn not matter as much as the actual fight anymore?

Then it will be McStick.

It’s 90% the same game with the stuff that made Overwatch awful to play a lot of the time being removed/changed

In other words, it’s a better game from the looks of it

Hog and Soldier every single match. Soldier is so overtuned he is mandatory.

Wait until you play with Torb’s buffed gun and watching his ult charge rack up because the enemy team doesn’t have a shield.

It’s quite beautiful really.

During both beta phases, Torb was honestly the most fun hero to play in 5v5, despite not receiving any changes to him.

Literally, the absence of 1 less tank made the Turret not briefly lock onto a tank, but rather have an increased chance to instantly lock onto one of the squishies.

You notice the the turret focus a squishy & you help the turret to kill them.

It truly was a beautiful sight to behold.

Of all the stuns, I felt this 1 to be the least annoying really.

Roadhog will still have hook.

Only 2 more weeks of every game being tank diff and tank synergy diff.
Subtanks are so busted and take away so many options. iframe bubbles for dive heroes, matrix even after you break sigma shield, subtank damage output in general.
OW2 needs to remove flex queue tickets. If they release content aka heroes, we don’t need it.
