I only played about 10 matches earlier and there was only two with no Orisa.
He’s the tank with the second longest reaching primary fire(with consistent damage) and has a shield he can put to use against her plus eat rockets with grasp.
Sigma is way better off against Pharmacy than Ball, Winston, and Rein anyways. Ball has the consistent damage, but not enough of it.
Eh, people said Pharah would be in every game the week without hitscan but that didn’t come to pass for me
Even I expected it that week!
Pharah would have to be within 22 meters, and he would have to hit her 3 times in a row, with both balls. And once again, Grasp has a long cooldown, and you can eat like 2 or 3 rockets.
Shield can make him protected, but she can stay out of range.
Cool. Its going to be miserable playing Orisa and Sigma in their current states.

I never said Sigma could just handle Pharah for your team, just that he can help with the process more than other tanks can. Not everything in this game is a 1v1 scenario, hardly anything is in fact.
So easy to say this - “just balance da gamez ya knowz”. Its never perfect, but the fact they didn’t nerf Rein’s shield is the issue right now, they left it so strong he’s a must pick.
I can play my girl Zarya again, or even Wonton.
Rein’s shield has always been at least this strong, and it was stronger for the vast majority of the game’s life. He hasn’t been a must pick that whole time. The shield isn’t the problem.

Yes it is. Don’t contradict the fact they nerfed them all worse than his, its exactly why he’s being picked. You guys need to accept its too much now. Everyone else took a shield hit, he didn’t get his nerfed as much so now he stands out, it was bad balancing…
His shield is fine because he doesn’t have Halt or Fortify or a gun that can fire while shielding.

Oh I don’t doubt his pickrate is high as a result of those nerfs. But being the sole main tank who wasn’t overnerfed is not the same thing at all as being overbuffed.

Projected barrier is the next best thing to DVa matrix for targeted damage denial…

2 second duration, 10 second cooldown. I’ve said this like 3 or 4 times now. It can eat 2 or 3 rockets, and you wont get much health. Also, then there are 10 seconds for the rest of the enemy team to take you down.
It’s like saying nothing counters Baptiste because he has immortality field
And also, Say his shield is in front of him. He has to drop shield, then wait a second, then put it back up. D.va’s defense matrix doesnt have travel time either.
You’re trying way too hard to make him out to be worse than he is lol. A sig who presses W and hits m1 won’t have much wanting to be in front of him. pair with Zar or Orisa and Sig is pretty scary

There is a reason Reins shield wasnt hit as hard. He can do nothing with his barrier up where as every other barrier tank has access to all their abilities with their barrier up.
Not sure why this us so hard for ppl to understand.
Besides Reins barrier can be burned down insanely fast.
