Ok, who IS fun to play against in this game?

There is a difference between “part of the game” and “way too much of the game.”

Mind, I do think there is such a thing as healthy CC. There should be heroes, especially tanks, who can get you out of their personal space, and limited-use, skilled CC abilities (like sleep dart) can be a great option to help heroes counter. Likewise, when some but not all maps offer a lot of options to heroes with CC abilities (eg; Ilios Well,) that’s a great way to ensure that different heroes see more playtime on certain maps.

But if, on the other hand, your team can’t push onto the point without somebody stunning the bujeebus out of you just by looking at you and spamming m1 from a relatively safe distance, then yeah, that’s preventing me from playing the game correctly. Movement and positioning are the most important elements of any shooter–it’s how you keep yourself from dying. Having a booby trap here or there that you have to skillfully avoid to stay alive is one thing. Having booby traps everywhere so that that it’s impossible or impractical to avoid them is a problem. Then you spend all of your time either avoiding CC or getting CCed instead of playing, y’know, the entire rest of the game.

Honestly this whole “how can x be unfun it’s part of the game” thing just sounds like people are being wilfully dense. There are parts of a game which belong and parts which don’t. When I bought a shooter/moba hybrid, I expected to play a game that has shooter and moba things–you know, running around, trying to kill stuff, dodging, trying to complete objectives, coordinating with a team, strategizing with hero choices and abilities, testing out your skills against the enemy player’s. I wouldn’t have bought a game where all I do is try to stay out of range of Brigitte or wait behind a wall for hacks to wear off, and I have a feeling you wouldn’t buy games like that either.

widowmaker, tracer, genji, mei

Throwers and leavers are fun to play against

widow 1v1s are pretty fun, even if i lose

Well, this is kinda an exaggeration if you’re referring to the current build of the game:

But I get your point. Is it that shield bash and hack both seem unintentional to you or low skill to you?

I’m not your guy, buddy

They should put a trampoline inside of ilios well, right now it is a danger to people.

True. Never thought about it, but I can relate so much because it happens to me all the time

Blizzard should have never written the word “fun” in patch notes. Now everyone thinks the game should be balanced around their own personal fun :man_facepalming:t5:

Its easier to say the unfun ones like Junkrat(dont bother me much since he can easily die) Pharmercy, Sombra and a GOOD Widow with a Brig in her team making it harder to us counter her.

Widow or Mccree duels. I always have fun wrecking or getting wrecked in those. The only thing that frustrates me in those is my 140ms ping and if I could make some of the headshots if I had a better network or was closer to the servers.

The thing with sombra though, people don’t realise that when she hacks you, it’s a 1v1 with only skill involved, no abilities. People don’t like it, because they know that they got out skilled by a Sombra if they die, unless it’s a Doomfist, they have full reason to be mad.

Stun locked? get out of here. It’s quite obvious you are salty about losing.
There not any real room to expand. Small maps. Ults.No mods. No Lan. Make this a casual game.
