Then maybe go play some other game if you’re not happy with this one. Sounds like you’re forcing yourself to play when you would enjoy something else more.

I think one of the D.va skins from HoTS would be markedly better than what we’re likely to get.
Jeff said the D.va skin would break the internet…I think that means one of two things sadly:
1). K-Pop Themed Skin
2). School Girl Skin
I think both would be cringey, but the stereotypical pandering from the latter would be wayyyyyy worse, so I really hope it’s not that.

One more day waiting, thats all i can do.
I would like 8 legendaries and 3-4 epics. I understand time goes into things but that’s not too much to ask. If it’s only legendaries again, and only like 6, that will be a pretty big disappointment.
Also, I hope they continue the trend of adding more victory poses and highlights. I feel like those two got lost for a while. Victory posses do not take but so much work to make, there should be way more of those every event…

Last year I think they only revealed the Soldier/Tracer/Symmetra skins, because before that week, they got leaked lol. I also support this, as they shouldnt reveal all the skins. I wanna see the surprise when it comes out, not before it comes out

I got ragged on SO HARD for saying the exact same thing on this very forum…
It’s such a freaking bore to see every single skin before the event. I know they did it to combat leaks, but when I could I used to wait on this forum with all of you guys, super hyped, 30-90min before an event launched all excited to download it and see who got what. Now, now I don’t even rush to update the game to see, there’s no need, because there’s next to nothing left as a surprise. Even if I avoid Overwatch’s twitter I’ll see it on my home feed or via ppl on discord or via some random gaming story that pops up while I’m reading about another game, or on youtube just by loading the page and getting flooded with ow recommendations, or w/e. So it’s like, what’s the rush to actually download the update and jump in to see stuff when it’s all spoiled the week before.
People are complaining a lot about events not feeling special, well sure new event modes not happening is part of the reason for that, but I think ppl underestimate how these skin reveals contribute to that feeling. We all used to be so hyped to find out what we were getting, we used to come together as a community on these forums and get hyped and guesstimate who was getting what. That’s all gone now, and it sucks, and it has made these events markedly less hype-worthy on the first day…
