Rather than fixing the game they’re introducing more heroes.
We know only a small minority actually like 2/2/2, hero and map pools are just basically “let’s try something new”(while also doing something they said that they’d never do), and some heroes are extremely strong while others are still sitting in the garbage not even viable… But sure, let’s introduce more heroes.
Fix your game rather than introducing new shinies. I’m probably one of the few that is still sticking around the forums even though I’ve stopped playing (I don’t even know what Sigma looks like yet).
Opinions and philosophies change over time. If I told you “I’d never ever have a tank in my game” a year ago, my feelings about that statement might be different now.
The game is in the best state it has been in a really long time. Role queue was the beginning of fixing the game, and hero pools I feel have really changed up the game to the point where there is no one meta every game. I think they made the right call on holding off on the hero until the game was fixed and I think they have done a really good job. This is coming from someone who has been very critical of Blizzard in the past.
I logged back on after grabbing coffee and saw this too.
Someone gives criticism, a few people decide they don’t like it, and not only do I get called a troll that’s “dev shaming” (I’m not; criticism isn’t shaming) I also get reported.
This is the part of the community that Bliz follows, no wonder why it’s in an abysmal state.
