Of course overwatch 2 is blowing up

It’s just for the drops lmao I’ve never in my life used twitch until now just to get the drops :sob: I have the stream playing on my phone muted while I play a game

Been a while.

You’re saying people with a personal financial incentive for OW2 being successful are saying good things about the game? I’m shocked!

Twitch viewership is already only 30% of what it was at OW2’s launch.

Give it 2-3 more weeks and it’ll stabilize below 20k viewers again if we’re being generous.

Also under no metric is OW2 a success with the 1000s of issues it launched with amongst many other issues they refuse to change or fix.

You live in an interesting world that you think the third best selling game of all time that has been as low as $10 was just struggling due to not being ‘free’.

if this is another CE alt i swear

Not necessarily. it’s just one of Blizzard’s famous FOMOs. Most people aren’t even going to watch the stream unless they already previously liked the streamer. Can just mute, put it on the lowest resolution and go do something else.

Remember, nothing says “massive success” like Blizzard having to come on this forum to apologize for how badly they screwed up the launch.

Op, pass me some of that Chiba chiba you smokin. That’s quality delusiopium you on.

Twitch views are not a measure of a game’s sucess or flop.

Just saying :man_shrugging: .

I mean, I have 2830 posts so…

Twitch viewers are inflated by drops and promotions - some streamers have been paid to play.

The game is popular though, as queue time for dps has been massively improved, but nothing is stabilized yet.
