Ana, or rather, Ana players on this forums kind of trigger me, i wanted to see the old lady buffed, but the behavior of Ana players thinking that “Ana deserves to have the better heals and be the better supp because muh skill, so Mercy needs to stay gutted and everything else can’t be buffed” is not better than the DPS complaining about Brigg or even Doomfist.

As I see it - it’s about how you personally enjoy playing the hero’s kit.
As for the general results and possible contribution to the game - all heroes should be on roughly same level.
Muh skillz arguments inevitably lead to most of heroes not being viable or total garbage. Yes, there will always be meta - something is bound to be the best. But it shouldn’t be a difference of “super good” X “garbage”.

How isn’t important? if Widow kills you from her respawn or using her hook-on top for 1 shot you behind a shield there is actually no counter play to it.
if Hanzo spams his arrow to one direction and suddenly 1 shot you there is no counter play to it because you didn’t see him.
DF interaction has tons of counter plays and since he is bugged as hell (right now 40 bugs so far) you can actually see him coming for you because he is louder than Reaper shadowstep.
If your team has 0 CC then there is nothing to much to do unless the DF player is actually trash which I dare to say 90% of DF players are.
This forum exaggerate things to the extreme, every time I see someone complaining about X they are in Bronze-Gold-Plat like how do you get those TOP500 DF in all your games? because in my tier Diamond-Master almost every time I see a DF on the enemy team that person is soooo BAD that get solo killed by Ana almost all the game in 1vs1 situations.

I agree with snipers being much bigger 
. Of course.
But the fact that DF is currently doing what he does and how successfu he is at that - people wouldn’t be here complaining if that wasn’t something seen as an issue.
Are you really surprised by this though?
He’s a backline assassin that oneshots. No way this forum would tolerate a version of him that works more than half the time.

There are very little effective counters to the festering pile of that is DF.
At least for now.
Simple, a lot of people just don’t like him and don’t want him to be viable at all, if a hero by his very core design can cause so much frustration and displeasure among players of course people would want him nerfed to to lowest ground possible to minimize his pressence in the game.
And i don’t think it has to do anything to do with the meta i never see anyone through the whole year of his existance ever say something like: oh yeah DF is such a good fun hero we need to see him more, the only positivity he ever got was during his bugfist period when anyone who tried him just wasn’t able to do anything usefull due to his random unstable state.

Hes always been like that. Just now its big enough of an issue that people can start talking about it.
People want him to be nerfed into oblivion so they never have to see him in their games ever again like back when he was bugged, regardless of whether or not he’s actually OP.
For a hero who was specifically designed to make people rage, Blizzard did actually succeed.

Buff Roadhog and Cree and voila Doomfist has some counters.

He packs everything that people hate into the game into one hero:
- Hypermobility
- Oneshots
- Literally more CC than ANY OTHER HERO IN THE GAME BY FAR
- Snowball potential w/ shields
- Requires you to have a counter (like Pharah does), most of which are garbage atm
- Is best played against by having a CC ability of your own, brining even more CC into the meta
- Kills Ana and Zen, actually fun and well-designed characters, with very little counterplay.
- Skilless get-out-of-jail-free card as an ult
- Literally every death to him is either a oneshot, a CC-locking combo, or an ult he’s totally invulnerable during. It’s not engaging in the slightest.
- Relies on bugs and exploits for cheap kills
I would have to consciously be trying to design a more obnoxious hero that’s worse for this game. Basically the only thing he doesn’t have that people find annoying is a way to deny projectiles, like Genji or D.va.
