Who do you think is going to get nerfed next due to the healer being viable? I feel it’ll either be Brigitte again or maybe Ana.

Hmmm… my intuition tells me Baptiste, because people will poo their pantaloons over a Support that can actually kill things reasonably well, and he can deny kills.
But, if the meta swings over to allow Brigitte to be viable, or Mercy to regain meta status, then probably one of them. I doubt Ana would get too much hate, though, because she seems to get a free pass even when blatantly overpowered–the only folks who really complain about her then are support mains because of how oppressive she can be against the rest of the support roster.

Reason why I say Ana is because of her biotic grenade, I have seen some posts recently of people complaining about it. They were scarce though but since barriers will break easily then she might not have a problem once PTR updates go live.
I was thinking about Baptiste as well, however I felt like many people don’t use his primary much or maybe I need to put more hours into Baptiste and use his primary more often.

mercy, she has a big enough target on ber head with superjump, and now they need a scapegoat for double snipers.

My guess is Ana is going to be nerfed with this barrier nerf incoming.
Isn’t it hilariously obvious that it will still be Moira? None of her biggest problems have been fixed, and Doom, a major reason why Moira is preferential, hasn’t been fixed either.
Maybe Ana’s nade will get nerfed, otherwise, its really hard to justify nerfing any supports right now.

yeah that they may just make it 50% healing denial since itll be way easier to hit with shields dying.

But people really shouldn’t be too worried about this stuff, just gotta brace for changes.

It’s not going to be Baptiste, he is too difficult for lower SR players to get a lot of value out of in game. The only time supports or any hero really starts to get the player base going is when the play style is too easy or impacts every SR range.
If anything I suspect we see bump up in for Zen or some other support and THEN they become a issue. Like his healing orb gets a boost and it’s unkillable Winstons in gold all of sudden.
Being right now most of the supports are in a good place once PTR hit, outside of poor Zen being so weak vs all the last few meta picks. Maybe Ana’s anti-heals gets a tiny nerf but I doubt it. If we see any real changes it’s going to be large role wide healing changes.
right now the balance team mostly need to look at some of the anti-3-3 DPS that are still running around in full anti-3-3 mode, in a 222 system.
Probay ana maybe zen if the meta moves just enough more rhen likely bap will get his tme in the sun… And will probably get sledgehammered to uselessness like what happens to all the “op” supports😒

Yep, I’m thinking Bap or Ana, the others already have trouble keeping up with healing.
I like to go with the favorites, so Mercy or Brig with Baptiste as a potential dark horse. Snipers are going to be stronger, and Mercy enables them, while Brig will be indirectly buffed and many just don’t want to see her in their games. Can’t decide if Baptiste does enough aiming to get the get-out-of-nerfs-card like Ana and Zen tends to get.
Nevermind, it seems like Baptiste might be the next healer people want nerfed after Moira gets hit.
I just hope we see more healing abilities on dps heroes.
Aka: no supports dont just heal, they can shoot too.
Dps don’t just kill, they should be able to heal too.
