Thank you.
Thank you for all the kind words. I do have trouble with self hatred, trying to work on it but it’s difficult seeing myself differently when others reaffirm my views of myself.

Idk if you made this because you want advice or you just wanted to vent, so I’m giving you two responses in one.
I watched over the replay vod from multiple perspectives, and for the most part, that match wasn’t your fault. Everyone on your team let the enemy Reaper flank and kill your backline the entire match. Sometimes he would TP right behind someone or right in the middle of your team, and nobody payed attention to him for the entirety of the match.
In a perfect world, your Brig would have been sitting with your Widow on highground so she could watch for Reaper, but instead she was playing in the frontlines. Mercy sometimes tried to help Widow when Reaper attacked her, but since she was Mercy , she was just another free kill for him.
And because Reaper was so free, the rest of the enemy team was allowed to play deathball and stack both tanks on the payload. Because of your support/DPS comp, your team didn’t have the damage to help you and D.va dive their backline, nor did they have the healing or crowd control effects to stop the enemy tanks from walking all over you if you tried to brawl them. Your comp + the enemy teams comp really held back your ability to make any aggressive plays on Doomfist, and that’s just unlucky tbh.
If you want an idea of what more you could’ve done that match… well, because the enemies were stacking on point, the Reaper was the only player who was consistently alone and out of a safe position. Fighting Reaper as Doom wouldn’t have been an ideal matchup, but you couldn’t really do anything else to the enemy team because of the way they were playing. At least you would’ve fared better against him than Widow/Mercy, and anyone besides those two trying to fight his flanks would’ve at least forced him to back off for a second and give your Widow some space.
Don’t let the weirdos being toxic get to you. Take some time to vod review your recent matches from their perspective to see how dumb they played, and you’ll know that they’re just talking out their rear ends when they try to act better than you. Like this match. It wasn’t your fault, even if you made some misplays and there was more you could do.
Thank you for the advice. Would it have been better to hang around Widow sometimes so Mercy could do more around the rest of the team and Widow could make picks, or would that just leave the other team open to continuously push?
