If games were linear, then you would have a point here. But it isn’t, so you don’t.
plenty of maps have verticality, plenty of heroes can do good damage at range, plenty of heroes can destroy a brig 1v1 especially if they know what theyre doing.
Legitimately the only people that complain about brig are people too bad to know how to deal with her, and that goes for the top tier tracer/genji players complaining they finally get a reliable counter
If you pit a mindless Brig vs a top tier Soldier on high ground, sure, but that’s manipulating circumstances to try to strengthen your point - which I don’t value.
Even if Brig can’t get to and kill, she still has 600 Hp shield with which to retreat.
And if Brig decides to flank you, if you want to stay out of her 7m death range, you have to run into her team.
So, again. If Overwatch was linear, sure, but it isn’t.
so i cant make manipulate circumstances to strengthen my point but you can manipulate circumstances to strength yours. Hmm
I wasn’t doing that to manipulate a point, I was making a contrary example to prove how invalid of a point it is. Sorry you missed that.
well you werent doing that to but you were indeed doing that.
Frankly brigitte is just fine, in fact the game is more balanced than its ever been and most of it i will deem is thanks to brig.
A lot of the changes since the beginning of s10 wouldnt have mattered if dive was dominant and meta still.
Like honestly if not for hanzos rework and widow, i think this would be the crest of balance for the game.
Honestly, I’ve no idea what this is meant to mean. Can you add some basic punctuation?
Dive was more balanced than this, and Brig killed Dive.
Dive was not more balanced then this. Dive was literally Winston, Dva, Genji, Tracer, Mercy, Zen, and Widow. Shall i go over whos viable now ever since brigs release?
It was.
Seeing only few characters, doesn’t mean the others are bad, that’s how meta works. And certainly, no one was OP
Pre brig- the heroes i listed above(also mercy dva and tracer were op and dva and tracer still are op)
After brig these heroes became viable sooner or later as balancing away from dive happened- Rein, Zarya, Winston(still viable), Dva(overpowered), Orisa, Doomfist, Mccree, sombra(yes sombra has gotten better), Pharah(even with all the changes), Junkrat, Tracer(overpowered in competent hands), Hanzo, Widowmaker, zen, ana, lucio, and brig ofc
Idk about you but which one sounds like a better balanced version with more viable heroes
Frankly i praise blizzard for making brig, the game is a lot more balanced now ever since ‘dive died’
Why would you want Brigitte removed?
(Yes, I’m a history major).
Why are you even playing pharah against three hitscan in the first place?
It was the beginning of the round before I knew the enemy comp. And after that, I obviously switched.
She exists to break a boring-to-watch meta and safeguard their esports profits, no matter how much she breaks the casual play.
I’d rather forfeit new characters for an extensive rework of the existing roster. You don’t fix a mess by stacking more trash on the pile.
Every new character just makes it harder to balance properly and they are digging their own grave by adding more.
fixed that for you
