I think that everyone would like an arcade mode that plays to our nostalgia. It would work the same way as quick play except all the heroes would be as they were when they were released. Untouched by patches. For example, Mercy could full team Rez, Hanzo could scatter, and symmetric could get her old kit back.
If you’re worried about balance, I don’t think balance is a concern in most arcade game modes. We do have total Mayhem after all.

Honestly I love this idea. Whether or not it’s as simple as just rolling back the patches for the characters I don’t know. I doubt the old code for the characters is still in the game (old mercy, old Sym etc). But I personally would love to play that as a game mode if it were added.

Then whoever played the game from day 1 will play that mode, less people will play the main game, and Blizzard won’t allow that.
It’s never going to happen.
But then people won’t play comp or watch the OWL, anymore.

This is the best idea I have heard on this forum for a while. This game mode would make me play the game again. That sweet sweet res again. I wouldn’t even care if I just died while using it like back in the day.
