After work I promised I would play with a friend, but when I play it won’t let me communicate with them. Every time I try to message/whisper it gives the message “The whisper could not be delivered due to an internal problem (7000).”. I’ve tried restarting the game and it’s not fixed it. Would someone mind looking into it please?
I feel bad cause it probably comes across like I’m ignoring them

Step-by-Step Fixes
1. Reset Your Battle.net Privacy Settings
This is the most common fix for the error.
Go to your Battle.net Account Management.
Click on Privacy & Security.
Navigate to your social and chat settings, disable text chat, and save your changes.
Turn the chat feature back on, and save your changes again.
Ensure Private Text Chat is set to Everybody.
Completely close and restart your Battle.net client and Overwatch.
2. Verify Social & Privacy Preferences In-Game
Make sure your in-game social options haven’t accidentally been toggled off.
Launch Overwatch and go to Options.
Click the Social tab.
Verify that your chat channels are set to auto-join.
Make sure you are not offline in the social panel.
3. Ensure You Haven’t Blocked Each Other
Double-check your Block List and Friends List.
Ensure you and the person you are trying to whisper have not blocked each other.
Try removing each other from your Battle.net friends list and re-adding them to refresh your friend statuses.
