No rez after 5 secs. Too much delay

Thing is blue beam was barely an issue…until Goodman decided to use it as a gimmick for another hero….

But also I know a lot of Mercy players were incredibly disappointed when neither Rez nor damage boost were touched in beta.

Heck even recall some just going “just need damage boost” when they pitifully attempted to Nerf Sojourn in season two (while giving her two compensation buffs).

Mercy does need some tweaking (as does 80% of the roster)…just not sure if she ever will at the rate the devs are going. Or if she does we’ll get Moth 2.0.

Standing on top of a body… and standing slightly on top of a body.

And yet every single player warned the devs “you don’t balance her right she’s just gonna get a Mercy pocket”.

Like I can’t even say that was Mercy’s fault since EVERYONE saw it coming!

thats true, but maybe without dmg boost the balance would have been great

I don’t care. And give me names whatever you want. I don’t care, either. Me and many other people want this character nerfed. This is a sentiment most of this community has. The devs can’t deny or be blind to this issue.

4 ultimates per 10m. SUPER balanced.

Unless its a random death from far away, you’ll usually push in to where the body is anyhow.

yea its common to ask to make space to be able to rez

And the average player can get about four ults every ten minutes as well.

Example: Average DragonBlade kills, 3 (Overbuff) average 2-6 blades (overwatch reddit) every 10 minutes. So that’s 6-18 kills with blade every 10 minutes. (Edit: was looking at wrong numbers when referring to Overbuff, corrected my error)

And you love to point out “2 rezzes every minute” when in reality that’s not how it works. It’s 1 Rez every 2-2.5 minutes.

So? It doesn’t matter when there is always going to be one of these abilities in play.

Also REALLY, you’re going to use that as an argument when Mercy’s damage boost single handedly destroy a bunch of DPS heroes solo because they constantly balance the base damage around damage boost break points. Oh I see it’s Mercy so it’s one thing for her but then her own abilities aren’t allowed to follow the same rules.

Yeah that doesnt happen ever. If ‘‘always’’ was a thing, Mercy would have much higher than 4 rezzes per match.

Not only that but if you are going to use one of those cooldowns to keep mercy alive through her rez cast… just save the hero being rezzed instead?

The only heroes that have been nerfed were either overpowered on their own (Ashe) or a niche case where an interaction was netting unintended numbers (bruteforcing through Transcendence using boosted dragons).

I dont know where y’all get this weird lie that mercy ‘‘holds hostage’’ from. Like, if you start blaming Symmetra mains on Mercy its going to be the most hilarious and pathetic thing ever. Literally ‘burned our crops and poisoned the water supply’ nonsense.

i mean you actually believe 5 meters is “standing on top of body” and that 7 meters is “standing slightly on top of a body” there is really not much i can say to you after reading that.

at all

first off, Damage boost can be used solo. It requires a teammate to attach the blue beam to

second, the damage from the beam does a fraction damage that the dps’s own attacks do, so it doesnt come close to beating anyone “solo” even if it could be applied in that fashion, which it actually cant be

good news tho - if your team really and truly believes what was quoted above, your team can include a mercy as well, which means the two teams are equally empowered in this regard

5m in-game is not actually 5m in real life btw, they get their units weirdly. am I really supposed to believe Winston’s bubble is 10 meters long? In-game units seem to be feet and not meters despite what they say.

So yes, 5 in-game units of range is literally the range of Reinhardt’s swings. And that 7 in-game units of range she can move away are rarely actually used because of her self slow while rezzing.
