No Bottom 500 title — joined last match before deadline

I was working on the Totally Normalwatch challenge and reached 98 games. I made sure to join my 99th match before 8 PM, but the match ended a few minutes after the reset time (around 20:10). The challenges were gone at 20:00 as expected — but I had already joined the game before the deadline.

It feels super disappointing to put so much time into the challenge — even playing on days when I had other things to do — only to miss out on the “Bottom 500” title because the match ended a few minutes too late, even though I joined in time.

I know the system probably goes by the match end time, but I just wanted to share the experience because it’s a bit frustrating. Maybe this could be handled differently in future events?

Thanks for reading!

Yeah, I don’t know why Blizzard makes these silly titles rare. It’s INSANE how much you have to play to earn just basic hero related title. Like War Machine for Bastion.

You were definitely robbed. The irony is that this is bottom 500 behavior. You deserve the title. Demand it from Blizzard support!

:ninja:

Pretty sure the titles you are referring to are meant to take a while, as only people who actually play the heroes quite a bit will reach level 50+. What OP is talking about is different, but unfortunate they missed it by such a small amount of time.

why? (???)

To show dedication and playtime on a certain hero. Hundreds of other titles to use that don’t take anywhere near as long.

i did that first, but they sent me here :pensive:
