Ngl - I’m laughing at the MM “change” discussion

This literally says they will try to manipulate and rig matches when people are on loss streaks. Not everyone plays in a 5-stack, this means if anyone is in your game that maxed their loss meter and it’s their charity match, the game has tried to purposefully rig that match in their favor and in doing this, it has rigged the match against at least one other person. Admitting to purposefully trying to manipulate matches so someone or multiple people win is understandably controversial. Multiple charity people can be on a team, there’s 10 people in the match.

No they won’t because this system will try to contribute to more streaks. It is worded as if it activates for a single game but after a streak, an unfortunate solo-queuer can easily get unlucky and have multiple games rigged against them and end up losing until their meter is maxed, they get one game rigged in their favor and if they win, they can go right back to going into games rigged against them. They can also get back to back games rigged in their favor due to a teammate having their charity game and go on streaks that way.

This system directly contributes to the streak and the stomp “issue”, it does not solve it at all.

It doesn’t really matter if people can climb, if you tell someone you have actively tried to rig a game against or for them, it won’t feel good to someone in that game, this is pvp. People won’t like the game admitting it is actively trying to be rigged so someone can feel good about themself. Having bad games, getting stomped, dealing with poor performing teammates doesn’t feel good, the actual game admitting that it will contribute to those situations feels worse. The devs are only fueling the “forced loss/win streaks” flames.
