i firmly believe they should do this.
they are working on overwatch 2 anway, why not add a bunch of new heroes?
10 new heroes added with Overwatch 2 would be a good direction.
(no dps heroes, 5 healers and 5 tanks)

While I agree entirely, I doubt it will be 5 Tanks, 5 Supports.
We know of, 4? Characters that could potentially be heroes or is confirmed to be an upcoming hero.

and Sojourn, who we’ve seen a small preview of and unfortunately looks like another hitscan and most likely DPS. 
They haven’t really specified how many we’ll get, but Jeff did say there will be multiple at least. 
They have already announced they are adding several heroes with ow2. The thing that annoys the hell out of me is that they are neglecting this game and saving them all for that game
They could easily release 3 heroes in 2020 and still have some left over for ow2. No instead they want to screw their current playerbase to try and boost sales for their pathetic pve. Disgusting

you’re getting the heroes for free, man…
there’s also a good rationale for adding heroes in a burst to revitalize the meta. It should freshen up the game quite a bit. i’m okay with it

We are getting multiple heroes with OW2 and they said we’ll probably get one more hero in the meantime.
Honestly I am kind of glad we’re not getting new heroes for a while bc they always tend to just break the game…
