Even worse. I’ve been maining tank these past two seasons, I get that the hero is frustrating to go against, but just banning the hero and begone isn’t the way to go.
Improvise, adapt, overcome!

This is a horrible change. It was needed before role lock, and it’s definitely not needed when you’ve got so few support and tank heroes. It becomes even worse for tanks - Rein is banned? Good luck playing Zarya. No D.va? Well, I guess Dive is not an option.

And if Blizzard decide to balance the game basing on “banned heroes” data the game balance might become completely screwed. Imagine if teams start banning Sombra-Brig just to play some Dive, and these two get nerfed, just because “well they’re getting banned, guess they are strong then”.

All it does is just create more problem and unsolvable issue.

Ban double shield? Welcome back to double sniper and this time, you better pray your DPS is good at those heroes cause you can’t even swap to double shield.

It’s not surprising if sigma ban happens. Hero bans anything can happen when hero bans are add.

Honestly a good idea that is too little too late. Hero bans is always a good idea, role que is not. Role que is bleeding players, hero bans will instantly make the OWL league better. So again, why is blizzard so *** backwards I don’t know but the game is dead anyway outside of OWL so I don’t care.

Hero bans a good idea for high ranks sure. But for the average player adding that system is pointless.

As long as bans stay exclusive to OWL. Last thing we need is to give the general public a means by which to troll. Randos don’t need that kind of authority.

A ban can either alter an existing comp and open up a weakness or straight up deny a comp and force another you can counter

Banning is pretty complex and this was the shortest answer I could give
