We all know that there are games you stomp or get stomped, this game mode makes it actually impossible to win it because you get stomped SO HARD, not even “strat” can compensate it.
it snowballs easy, but thats largely cus people keep running at the point 1 by 1 instead of regrouping.
The mode itself is fine if your team regroups, the issue lies with well, the playerbase hates doing that.
Just wait 5 seconds for your tank get back, maybe do some safe poke while you wait.
Technically, flashpoint is still worse.
at least those matches last a bit longer
overwatch players try not to cry over new gamemodes challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
There’s nothing technical about that statement
I honestly really like this new mode and I think this is what Flashpoint should have been!
This is why people hated 2cp so much and why the mode got removed. So it makes no sense why they brought it back in an even more obnoxious game mode.
overwatch players try not to leave a stupid comment challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
Yeah, devs shoulda seen that players dont want to group up with their team in a team based game. crazy huh?
It is because they tried to cater to everyone and end up catering to no one. People who are getting stomped just want game to end quick, some who get stomped need time to adapt to overcome stomp, yet this mode just ends game to fast there isn’t any chance for a turn around and it is just a stomp fest…
true
idk what is with all the new modes being designed to be speedran.
Stomping is a matchmaking problem, not a mode problem.
I don’t know what amount of copium these “enjoyers” are on but this mode is terrible should’ve been scrapped or have some iota of thought put into it. This mode just screams paladins to me, it is so un-overwatch
Yes youre right, it doesnt feel like OW at all
Right now Paladins is more OW than OW2 is.
Kek that is very true. At least they didn’t make a pointless sequel
Yeah, the rage posts might mean something if they weren’t common after every single new content release. People run straight here with their knee-jerk rage instead of taking a second to really learn something new.
You’re being snarky, but yes.
The problem was that the mode relied too much on team coordination on the attacker’s side, because the defenders were overwhelmingly favored by their spawn point position. It resulted in too much trickling, stalling, and matches feeling like they went on forever on the 2nd point.
You should know that anything that relies too much on coordination is going to be bad for solo-queue. Regardless of how much you wish your teammates would coordinate, we all know that that’s not how the game is played in the average lobby.
waiting a couple seconds for the rest of your team instead of running blindly at the enemy team solo is not really coordination, just common sense. but i get what you mean.
You’re forgetting the fact that Clash was tested before, and people disliked it. It isn’t a knee-jerk reaction, we already knew it was terrible.
