New Brig's healing stats and comparison with Lucio

So I did a little calculation on exactly how much healing reworked brig will be able to output, and a comparison with Lucio. Hopefully it will be easier for people to get the exact stats.

Self healing

  • Brigitte:
    • roughly 10.83 hps for 6 seconds (65hp in total) from Inspire
    • potentially 30 armor per second from Rally
  • Lucio:
    • 12.3 hps from healing song,
    • 38.5 hps for 3 seconds from Amp It Up healing song

Healing towards allies

  • Brigitte:
    • 21.67 hps for 6 seconds (130hp in total) from Inspire
    • 60 hps for 2 seconds from Repair Pack
    • potentially 30 armor per second from Rally
  • Lucio:
    • 16 hps from healing song
    • 50 hps for 3 seconds from Amp It Up healing song

TLDR: Although Brigitte’s self healing will be weaker than Lucio, she will be able to output a stronger healing towards her allies in the middle of a fight.

Lucio has some of the highest mobility in the game with a small hitbox. 12 hps self heal forever with a bail out 38 hps.

Brigitte has the largest support hitbox in the game no mobility and a paper 200 health shield. 10 hps self heal if she’s got her shield down and is presumably taking damage.

Remember lucio heals his allies all the time without the need to deal damage

Briggite has to deal damage in order to heal so in the end lucio still heals more in total.

Brig has to get close to enemies to heal and has a large hitbox
Lucio can heal whenever he wants and is the fastest, most difficult to kill support

But I would imagine Brig will be healing more in a close fight (burst healing in a way) to compensate her lack of healing outside of battles

Her self-healing nerf can be partially justified though by remembering that she will never be the only healer on a team.

if she cant survive in the battlefield and die in 3 secs and unlike lucio who is slippery and is hard to kill.

Because in my opinion Rally is similar to healing over time in a strange way.

Exactly! I think she will still be really useful against a dive comp to help out the main healer on the team

with her shield and self healing nerf i doubt she will be healing hard

^By healing the other healer on the team, that other healer will be able to help out Brigitte with her lack of self sustain - on paper at least

Did you want her to do more than that? She’s on off healer for god’s sake, it’s not like she’s trying to solo heal her team here…
