Never knew you gain more SR after decay?

I stopped playing for a while and decay brought me to 3000. I was about 3300. I notice when I win games I get like 50-60 SR per win and like 10-15 Sr per loss. I had one game where I got 88 SR. Is it the system trying to get you back to where you used to be? I also noticed I was still getting placed in games that were around 3200-3300. Is this that hidden mmr I keep hearing about? Very strange.

I’m at about 3200 now and my gains/losses are back to normal.

Decay doesn’t affect your MMR. So if you win a game with an SR significantly lower than your MMR, you’ll gain a lot.
