Nervous for the upcoming patch notes

I feel like these patch notes will be the final straw for those of us who play nonconventional/niche heroes (or rather just…unique heroes that make Overwatch…Overwatch) or those of us who simply feel like the game is losing its charm and moving into the direction of more so a deathmatch style team game.

I really REALLY hope there are some major changes to heroes that have been struggling these past few seasons due to the global buffs and DPS passive.

Sym, Weaver, Reaper, Mei, etc. really need changes this upcoming patch. Mercy I would say doesn’t really need any buffs to her base kit per se, but rather a new passive rework, and maybe even a new passive for LW.

I hope it’s not just another season of waiting and voicing concerns surrounding underperforming characters like this past season has been, just to have them constantly fall on deaf ears. If it is, I will just be highly disappointed and simply just uninstall and take a very long break.

On the flip side, this season does look like it will have some fun events and I hope to play them.

The most important thing is that Sojourn needs a nuclear bomb level nerf. Then also hard nerf Mccree, Tracer, Echo and Pharah. All of them are so far above every other dps and it’s gone on for far too long. A large Kiriko nerf is also long overdue.

Then buff Rein and Sym.

Yeah I feel like starting with those nerfs would benefit those who are struggling as if right now.

Then if they are still struggling look into buffs.

I’m hoping there’s at least one actually good thing on the list of what will be dumb and useless changes to lifeweaver. After the 70 → 80 but keep the hps the same “buff” there’s no trust left. There’s no way anyone who actually plays him thinks that was helpful in any way.

I personally want to see small map reworks to shift the meta from hard poke/hard dive depending on map to be a little more variable. It’s been this way for essentially all of ow2 and it’s getting really old.

When they remove havana entirely until the rework is done >>>>

Yeah, the gap between the strongest heroes and the weakest ones is so huge right now.

Some heroes have absolutely been left behind since the changes - and some for a lot longer than that.

Blizzard done now

disruptor shot explodes after 4 secs like a dva bomb to anyone inside it.

It’s well balanced cause you have 4 secs tooce out guys.

But if soj has a rail shot charged she can shoot the core of disruptor early with it and make it explode.

I just want a reward structure outside of the BP. It does not have to be a cosmetic, just SOMETHING where I can feel the progress regardless if I win or lose. The hero level system sucks.

But hey at least we get lifeguard weaver :weary::weary::weary::weary::weary::weary::weary:

She just needs to lose railgun headshots and receive no compensation for it.

Yeah I’m ngl I don’t even take any notice of the hero level system. At all.

But yeah, some sort of reward structure outside of the BP would be really nice.

Ranks used and levels used to be those, actually just the games used to feel like that.

Currently it’s too lopsided to feel rewarding most of the time.

I have proper close matches 2-3 put of 10.

IF it’s in the shop day 1 (on my knees begging for this) :sob:

I would really like a stupid side thing… like you collect water drops with every assist or elemination and have some small quests like “Deal 2000 damage” or “Heal 3000 damage” and then you get 10 water drops and after 100 water drops your small tree gets bigger and then even bigger. At some point it gets flowers and fruits that bring out smaller trees and you can water them and build a forest…

This was just some stupid thought, but I think you get the point. Something that just FEELS nice.

sojourn being hard meta since release is probably the craziest thing in ow2 imo. like i could understand 2-3 seasons but 10…10 seasons.

Reaper will still be bunz

It’s so sad :sob: Reaper is one of the dpses in my repertoire and it’s just like, man.

Hint: people will never be happy with the games balance

To expect things to get fixed is to set yourself up for disappointment

Yeah even I agree echo feels pretty strong. As long as I have a mercy pocket double hitscan doesn’t really scare me. And whenever they go something weird like venture junkrat it’s just an autowin lol.
