There’s TONS of support players, more in higher ranks boosted role. It be 3dps, 2 supports so the queue’s would be fine with one less support player to dps.

Having no tank will mean the following for support role: being constantly chased by 3 dps while having inferior output power and reduced heal potential if there are only squishies to heal.
most supports have good damage output to duel a dps, even Mercy would get more value out of her pocket with no tanks. Tanks are Mercy’s biggest counter right now
I’d enjoy support more with no tanks, that means no shields which makes all aim supports fun af
I don’t care about nerfing - they just need to stop making such unfun tanks. Orisa rework is the epitome of a tank that is unfun for everyone else in the game. Mauga is the same.
Please learn from these Blizz and stop making tanks like them.
why play a class with less dmg when you can play a class that has more?
healing will mean nothing in a burst meta anyway with exception of ppl who pocket their friends.

Well, it will never be obsolete in a game like OW that heavily relies on having a healer for the team to sustain itself but there is was less to heal when there isn’t a tank around. Also unless playing mercy, there is not much that can be done about a dps getting 1hkod (even more without any tank to provide a barrier)
