mercy needs a nerf. damage boost is too op, it makes way too many things oneshot when they arent supposed to or arent supposed to on that time. rez is basically just a “undo teammate game costing mistake” get killed? no problem, mercy can superjump rez and then put dpi super high and start spinning, impossible to hit and its a free rez unless theres a hog camping the rez location and in this meta itll probably be in backline anyway so thats not possible

ana is good as hell and shes like a 30% pickrate or somewhere close to that, you still have immortality field and it isnt even in the patch that bap is nerfed, you still got lucio speed amp and beat, you have moira fade and coal. you have zenyatta discord orb and his insane burst, and you’re telling me healers are bad? its pretty obvious mercy is being picked because shes genuinely the best hero in the game
There’s nothing besides a Hog that can stop it! No blue skinned French women or sleep dart armed grannies that could capitalise on the slow and hitbox expansion, no deadlifters who’s secondary fire knockback could be enough to cancel it! Think of the poor hogs having to do everything
mercy mains once again somehow trying to defend how shes picked in literally every game and every game shes not being picked in and the other team picked it is an instant loss because of how good rez and dmg boost are for ashe and widow

She wasn’t considered op last meta AT ALL. But now she suddenly is? This time it’s just the meta I promise you. But rez could definetly be nerfed/reworked. My idea is to just make the time they CAN be rez’d about three maybe four seconds so you dont have to babysit a dead player for 10 seconds to deny rez.
No. Damage mitigation is underpowered, so damage boost looks great by comparison when there’s virtually no way to counteract or outplay incoming damage. (THANKS OWL!)
The irony is that damage boost is supposed to increase the power of damage and abilities, enabling heroes to do things they weren’t able to before.
“Mercy” means “second chance.” That’s why resurrect exists. It’s not that hard to kill once again.

The only “free Rez” comes from when a bubble is used on mercy in order to allow her to get a safe Rez for once.

I love that people act like any Widow worth their salt needs a Mercy. When they changed damage boost a few months ago Widow was the hardest hit, as Mercy no longer gains ult charge on damage that would have killed without being boosted. The only target this meta Widow would really benefit from having damage boost for is Zarya.
As for rez, the whole reason it exists in its current state is to counter burst damage and one shots from characters like Widow, Hanzo and Doom

you know theres some kinda tech that makes it a mini super jump so its just above the rez threshhold? its the same thing as a super jump because of the passive, nothings different
The best hero in the game? Wow. You know, I wish that were true, because I would much rather play against mercy than almost any other support in this game.
