Genjis dash damage annoys me the most tbh. without it, deflect would just be a baiting/defensive tool.

Wow, this game definitely went free to play. The bads are out.
Stop shooting Zarya bubbles. Stop shooting Genji deflects. Start communicating with your team. None of you know a thing about game balance or you’d have a job and a living wage balancing games.

Funny story about a match I had. My team was attacking on Circuit Royal. Enemy team had a Genji, my team had a Symmetra. I was Brig, so I lower my shield to heal a teammate, Genji’s deflecting and Symmetra uses her alt fire to shoot him. Projectile bounces off and hits me, killing me because I was already low on health. Couldn’t help but laugh at it, since it was clearly not intentional on Genji’s part.
Well shoot the bubble if she’s low hp, especially the 2nd one please.

The problem with genji deflect is the fact that it is has no recovery and can be used with dash. Deflect → dash is a very safe and cheap.
- Deflect = ok.
- Dash = ok.
- Deflect AND dash and reset on kills in the same kit = idiotic.

lol ok I’ll just go tell the top 500 players who are currently getting destroyed by Zarya players to just not shoot the bubbles, I’ll tell them that what they should do sit there and get lazered for 5 seconds, they should be fine

He’s, he’s a flanker he isnt suppose to be charging straight at them at all, he shouldn’t be playing anywhere near close to how a tank plays, that’s the problem

Even with deflect, he’s not invincible.
Just as he needs to predict what you are going to do, you’ll have to predict when he’s going to deflect and when he’s going to cancel it.
It takes the exact same skill from both sides.
You fail and you shoot at his deflect? Well that’s on you frankly.
An ability that reflects your own mistakes directly at you, doesn’t sound too bad.
The only change needed to his deflect is a f**king outline for the hitbox.
The hitbox is approximately 3 times the width of Genji to his right and left, and it’s so hard to judge when he’s jumping in front of you (if you’re trying to shoot a target behind him).
Same for Sigma. His absorbtion ability should get a outline for the hitbox too…
Okay I hate Genji but this here is just hilarious, how does having a “out of jail” card affects his skill floor when EVERY flanker is designed to have free disengages? Omg Tracer is such a braindead hero, how does she have Recall as a free escape that also heals her? Such a skillful hero shouldn’t need a tool like that. What about sombra? dear lord, the character can get invisible AND teleport for free with nothing to think about at all?
Every flanker has not one but multiple ways to just get out when they are in trouble, that’s what makes them good flankers 
The only thing that really lowered the skill floor of flanker heroes in general not just Genji was the reduction in CC.

if shes low hp especially people forget they can actually kill her while she has no shields, shred through it and actually kill her if you know you can, absolutely do not leave her alive after youve given her charge to get her shields cd back, its not really a hard concept but idk people just cant do it, also stop playing genji into her
Its funny that Genji’s deflect is better at tanking than Doomfist’s block.

thats because doomfist is actually useless, not because deflect is a good tanking ability
No way Genji’s deflect is messing you guys up like that. Why not just nerf Reinhardt’s shield while we are at it.

Not saying it should be nerfed because of this, its more of a comment on the sad state of Doomfist.
That’s exactly how that works. Unless you use beam type weapon which only few heroes have, there is nothing that can prevent Genji from advancing towards you when he presses E. It blocks even melee damage and abilities, something not even Matrix or Grasp can do. And it’s dps with deadly shotgun on rightclick.

i agree with you not only does he get absolutely shredded, he barely even does dmg and his mobility is kind of too good so a lot of doom players just leave their healers that are supposed to be healing them and they cant keep up with him so theyre left alone to die
If he couldn’t move during his deflect, I’d have no issue with. Making the mistake of shooting his deflect is understandable. Him being able to move in on you while deflecting to secure the kill is what I find irritating. Just because I don’t shoot, doesn’t mean he can’t still move in. And even if I headshot him as he dashes out of deflect, he still gets the dash damage on me, so if I’m already low enough, he gets a kill even though I killed him before he reached me.

Blizzard should nerf everything that’s ever made someone slightly upset.
