Do you think you are the first to try to get mouse and keyboard allowed on console.

I’m allowed to share my opinion publicly :joy::joy: and everyone starts with a first forum… what’s your point exactly?? Halo did it, call of duty (war zone and black ops did it) Fortnite, apex, even start wars battlefront 2. All these games have enabled keyboard and mouse. Forgive me for wanting it in overwatch also :joy::joy:

I haven’t tried to do anything but ask you to provide a valid argument. If that’s too hard for you - perhaps you should rethink coming onto a forum and asking for mouse and keyboard for console as your first post.

Because I enjoy mouse and keyboard and not controller IS A VALID REASON :+1:t2::+1:t2: The whole point of games is for enjoyment so if something would make it more enjoyable for me then that’s valid enough. I’ll make a forum about whatever I want could care less about having your approval. Re read this post until you see the reason I’ve given 5 times already lol once again in case you missed it the reason is I enjoy keyboard and mouse but not controller.

As long as aim assist is disabled for you and you are placed in queues only with other KBM or PC crossplay, I have no objection.

You could just move to PC, or get an adapter if you need an advantage in a 5 year old game that nerfs hitscan to please all the MOBA players who can’t aim either.

Aim assist is incredibly broken. A lot of PC players that play on the switch with me in comp on my smurf were utterly speechless at the amount of “no effort” it takes to just aim at something in a general direction and hold R2, and see how many heads just automatically get clicked. Any time a console player complains about not being able to hit things - It makes me sick to my stomach. Console aim assist is a cheat in and of itself.

The settings look like this:

  • Horizontal Sensitivity: 0-100
  • Vertical Sensitivity: 0-100

Advanced:

  • Aim Assist Strength: 0-100

  • Aim Assist Window Size: 0-100 This is the “hitbox” of where the aim assist will guide your cross hair into an enemy head hitbox - and it’s huge the higher you go.

  • Aim Assist Legacy Mode: The older version of aim assist that nobody uses anymore

  • Aim Assist Ease In: How fast or slow your aim assist client will snap to a target’s head.

  • Aim Smoothing: Reduces jitter while pointing your crosshairs at a target and will smooth it between hitboxes as aim assist does it’s thing

  • Aim Ease In: Reduces the jitter of your movement before the aim assist window is reached while pointing at something to shoot

So as you can see - it’s already broken enough and this kid wants to have all that and a mouse and keyboard on top of it. If he is truly that bad at the game, he needs to go find another game or learn how to play the actual game. Console players do not need any more “assists.” They just need to get better.

if you guys want to use aim assist with a mouse and keyboard, go buy criticalhit and get banned for hacking. because using MKB while using aim assist would essentially be just that.

I told him. Just go back to pc if he wants to play with a mouse and keyboard. He came back and said he likes playing from his couch. So I don’t understand why he just doesn’t move his couch in front of his desk and play ow on pc lol.

Allowing mouse and keyboard on console is a waste of time when you can literally just go play on pc - since he stated he already played on pc. Unless it’s some kid whose parents won’t buy him a pc or an adult who cannot afford one.

In either case - you are very correct. It’s a poor performance issue that is easily fixed…without having to change the entire way console is played.

I agree with you view and overall statement, hands down I used to play on PC too before my baby died (blue screen) but moving back to console honestly I’m having a blast, its a whole new challenge and I find that fun imo, overall this game feels good with a controller too and if anything I have to admit the pacing compared to PC its tone down and a breath of relief at times to, but hands down we don’t need Kb&m on console

There are many good cheap pcs that can run Overwatch at 60fps. You dont need a fortune to play on pc
