Need explanation of "positioning"

so, it’s really just about trying to stay hidden as much as possible, while still being able to do your job. It could be anywhere on the map. you could be 6 oclock, 3 oclock or 9 oclock, or anywhere in between, as long as you are in a place where you can use cover and and stay as hidden as possible?

i struggle with good positioning because of the dynamic nature of the game, combined with being on low mobility heroes. When the rein charges into the back line, now I have to find a new position to heal him. when soldier goes flanking to the back of their line, now i need to find a position where i can have LOS to him while he’s back there.

I just find that, im moving so much that i dont ever get to find any cover, which exposes me, but also makes it hard to heal everyone when they go running around fighting around corners, or in places where, if i want to heal them, i have to jump down out of my position, into the battle fray…like when they go underneath me. Is it best to just stay put and let them die if they go out of LOS? or follow them and try to save them?
