You make it sound like nanoblade doesn’t use up two ultimates.
And maybe I’m the worst genji player on earth, but I feel like it’s not easy at all to be consistently efficient with a nanoblade.

Counters to nano blade: whole hog, whip shot, sleep dart, hack, emp, shatter, dva bomb (zones him out)
That’s not even it, since your whole team will be looking at genji, a stun ability used on him will usually be followed up by your whole team and it’s gonna be easy to kill him then.
Dragonblade is the hardest damage dealing ultimate to counter and as a result it gets more kills out of any other. Nano doesn’t combine as well with any other ult.

It doesn’t necessarily need to be nerfed but am tired of all the downplaying of Dragonblade.
Hardest to counter? You talking like EMP doesn’t exist? The difference that Nano makes is that even after being stunned, the Genji can still pop off and get kills. Blade without Nano is just asking to be stun killed. Not only does Blade have plenty of counter play, it is one of the hardest DPS ults to use (i.e. you actually have to play with the ult and not just press Q to use it like Deadeye, EMP, Infrasight etc.)
EMP deals no damage and is not a damage dealing ultimate. Of every ultimate that deals damage, Dragonblade is the hardest to counter and gets the most kills.
It’s a DPS ultimate and is still better than Nanoblade (which is 2 ultimates). Dragonblade is Genji’s only saving grace and why he’s actually used. Do you want his ult to be nerfed? Earthshatter requires a shield or you’re going to get hit by it while Blade has many different ways to be countered (stun, hack, lucio speed boost + boop, trans, soundwave) do you want me to go on?
Setting aside EMP is getting hard nerf…It being a dps ultimate is irrelevant. It’s in a different class than Genjis and should not be compared in kills. Because it secures no kills on it’s own. It should be compared with Shatter, Grav, ETC. It’s a utility ult not a damage dealing ult. I did not misspeak by not including it in the damage dealing ultimates.
Genji’s is the best in his class, period.
And he needs his Ultimate to be the best in his class so he is actually viable. If he had an ult that was as good as Deadeye he would be the worst character in the game.
And? I didn’t state it needed to be nerfed. I literally said it shouldn’t be. So stop acting like I did because I pointed out something true.
Those who claim Dragonblade in weak are downplaying it.
It’s the best in class of it’s ultimate type. It’s the hardest damage dealing ult to counter and gets the most kills. That’s just true. And anyone claims otherwise hasn’t spent enough time on other heroes with damage dealing ultimates. Because I guarantee you that Deathblossom, Barrage, Visor etc are easier to stop. And by extension so are the nanoboosted versions.
Dragonblade isn’t weak, it’s not strong either. You could make a case for Tire being as good as Blade, but W/E. ‘Hardest’ is in context, it’s still not hard to counter him at all.
Tire gets 6.27 kills per game at the highest percetile vs Genji’s 9.50. In terms of kills per game, you really can’t.
If it was easy to counter blade he wouldn’t have been getting brought into league consistently for his ult.
It’s not easy to counter blade. It’s not impossible either. Its not so difficult it needs a nerf. But it’s not easy either.

Incorrect. Moira is top choice for bronze and silver.
First off - It’s 2 powerful ultimates stacked together. It should be powerful.
Secondly - you should gameplan for it ahead of time. There are plenty things you can do to deal with it. The problem is, almost everyone in this game are so offensive minded, that they totally miss the limitless possibilites of countering it.
This is why I’ll take awareness over aim any day of the week.
There are more than 2 defensive ultimates in the game. People just look at Zenyatta and Lucio as the only ultimates in the game.
How about your Hog? Hog has his ultimate? You notice that Genji hasn’t bladed and they have an Ana who hasn’t utilized nano? Tell your Hog to hold his Hog ultimate until he blades - - - Stay around his supports…and let loose his ultimate when nano blade comes in. Aim at the Genji.
How about your Winston. He has his ultimate? Hold it for the nano blade, and the second you hear him coming in, let loose and keep booping him away from your squishies.
How about Mei blizzard?
How about Torb Lava?
How about Sigma now?
How about Dva Bomb!?
How about Grav?
How about Shatter?
How about mines?
ALL of these ultimates can be used as a RESPONSE to blade to stop it. Problem is, people don’t think creatively . . . and they just wait til blade comes and die. You HAVE to plan ahead.
