Oh snap. I completely forgot to mention the Silent Hill 2 remake. Not first person but it’s one of the two best looking horror games in existence right now alongside Alan Wake 2.
If you like action RPGs, then I highly recommend Stellar Blade. If you don’t have PS5, that’s fine because it’s coming to PC in the future (maybe this year). Another obvious recommendation is Elden Ring. From Soft games aren’t known for graphical realism, but there’s a unique beauty in their artistry that holds up over the years better than technologically impressive graphics imo.
the graphics on those games are beautiful but rise does seem to be the best. i think shadow took a step back but i have never played that game so… dont really know? lara’s model tho in rise is exceptionally better

Yeah this is true. Shadow was handled by a different dev who seemed to have less expertise with the engine, which was made by the dev of Rise. Or maybe because the environments were more demanding, they had to reduce character detail to compensate. Not sure. Shadow had other faults as well, but overall it’s amazing and was the best of that trilogy imo.
The dev of the reboot and Rise is now making TR4, which is rumored to be open world.

lol yeah Eve is like the most beautiful game hero ever, but she’s also a great character with quirks and flaws that counterbalance her badassery (fans have theorized that she’s on the spectrum). She’s mature and headstrong, never giving off a born sexy yesterday vibe while also never feeling like a Mary Sue. It’s a shame the marketing and YT vids only focus on her “assets.”
For anyone out there considering playing Stellar Blade, do not play in English. The Korean dub is infinitely better.

woa went to that steam page and yea, it does look overwatchy but a pve campaign game. very intersting, ill be watching that game. actually thinking about trying the demo
