My understanding of the cards and fire stuff (at least from what other users have said) is that it’s something they want to reimplement but haven’t gotten around to.

I sure hope so! It’s also strange that the game makes you sit on the Battle Pass level screen forever after a game instead of bringing you back to the main menu. I keep forgetting about it and sitting on the screen waiting for no reason, lol.
