My FPS and IND always fluctuate during team fights and then cause my first perspective to become stuck, just like powerpoint.
Hey, oooooooooooo! It’s a bit odd that the FPS and IND are fluctuating but it may suggest a processing or connection issue. With the perspective being stuck, connection is the main concern that I have. There’s a few requests I have to help check for both of these out.
- Let’s grab a screenshot of Network Graph (CTRL + SHIFT + N) while running the game. Use an image sharing website like imgur and paste the URL between two ` (~ key) like so:
`Link Here`
- Gather a WinMTR file until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:
~~~
WinMTR Here
~~~
If you have issues pasting here, use Pastebin and post the end of the link. (ie. 123456 for pastebin.com/123456
)

Your connection to your router is extremely unstable. You’re dropping 3% of packets (They’d never make it to our server, leading to those IND spikes), you have an average of 10ms before you even get to your router (it should be about 1 ms), and you’re frequently spiking to sort of high latency (~90 ms) even when the packets are making it to us successfully.
If you’re on wifi, try swapping to ethernet and it should fix things. If the router is very close to you and there are no obstacles between you and it (glass cases, floors, walls, etc) that usually means that your wifi adapter or router is on the fritz. You can try to fix that by updating your network drivers and power cycling your PC and router but if neither works, most often you need to replace the router.
What if I have the same sort of issue but I’m using Ethernet?
Your router hardware could be failing.
