My Current Meta Tier List

S- Sigma, Wrecking Ball, Baptiste (Brigitte with Bap)
A- Tracer, Echo, Roadhog, Mercy, Zenyatta, Widowmaker
B- Brigitte, McCree, Orisa, Ashe, Soldier, Reaper, Sombra, Mei
C- Lucio, Zarya, Hanzo, Torb, Winston, Ana
D- D.VA, Doomfist, Symmetra, Genji, Moira, Junkrat, Reinhardt
F- Pharah, Bastion

This is roughly based on Overbuff stats with what I have seen in high Elo scrims mixed in for characters like Mei and Sombra

Greatest Increase : Baptiste, The recent buff has pushed him into easily being the best support, Providing the pure healing of a main healer and the utility of a flex support

Greatest Decrease : (1) Genji, Genji’s strength has always been based off of how fast he could build up blade, which is why he worked well against Hog and low shield comps, with the return of Double Shield he is sliding even further down. (2) Reinhardt, Reinhardt struggle with the amount of spam and shield pressure that can be put on to him before he is able to close the distance between him and the Double Shield.

Best Hero for Solo Queue : Wrecking Ball, Wrecking Ball has the ability to cause constant disruption and perform consistent dives without “Feeding” due to his adaptive shield not giving off any ult charge with combination of being the most mobile hero in the game.

Worst Hero for Solo Queue : Pharah or Genji, both are very reliant on support combinations and easily could slide below F tier without consistent pockets, Characters like Doomfist could also fit because of how dependent they are on utilizing team resources.

I actually like this one. Good tier list.

This is a really good tier list! Only thing is that orisa should be a tier higher (she’s amazing in double shield) and I’d probably move ball to A tier.

Why are Sombra, Mei and Reaper in the same tier as Soldier ans Ashe?

OMG NERF/BUFF EVERYONE!!

(I think that’s the proper forum reaction)

for me Orisa feels too dependant on Sigma, versus Sigma who can actually have synergy with other tanks

Fair enough, but based on the meta right now I’d say orisa is A tier as well as ball.
If this was a “how good each hero is” tier list I’d agree with you, maybe even make her a tier lower.

Because Sombra, Mei and Reaper while not amazing in Ladder dominate organized play, which does bump them up a bit, After seeing them Perma Picked i would find it hard to put those guys in the same area as Genji or Doomfist with a straight face

They are picked a lot in organized play. They aren’t amazing on ladder tho.

D.VA’s main issue IMO, is how easily Dive is countered by Supports now-a-days, Shes basically screwed if she boosters onto a target and doesnt have constant follow up from the rest of her team to kill them before they can, Shield Bash, Flail, Fade or use immortality, D.VA would be a lot better if Zen and Mercy Meta came back like it was a few weeks ago.

You gonna place Ana somewhere or is she that bad?

O shoot
1 sec .

ace why is genji not in f tier in a double shield meta, at least pharah has maps shes good on

Genjis nanoblade while hard to build up is extra deadly in Double Shield because everyone becomes extremely grouped up

Not to mention, hes a flanker in his secondary playstyle

I would move ball to A and Ana up to b, but otherwise this is pretty solid.

ahahahaha

what actually happens

bap presses e, orisa goes golden, sigma fluxes, zen trans/brig starts brig healing, you get chained cc or focused by echo/mccree insane damage

If a team does that, they have now used 6 ults for 2, which is pretty darn stupid

bap pressing e is usually more then enough for you to get hard focused esp with a zen discord and echo being so strong it was a bit of an exaggeration but you get my point. not even talking about how having a zen/bap means they can pretty much match your tempo while you have an ana shooting nades at shield because you forced genji lol

Sym is considerably worse that either Pharah or Genji for ladder, all the way, The reliance those 2 have on their team is very minimal, and supporting them is literally just a Mercy pocket and Ana nano along with dragonblade, while being usable heroes on their own. If Genji was a bad ladder hero he couldnt be one of the most picked heroes in ladder.

Meanwhile Sym derives value mainly from a gimmick people dont know to optimize, pick around or even use at all. At the cost of being a terrible dps hero who cant exist at her own range and requires a constant pocketing to function at a basic dps level.
