thats what hero bans are made for in games

if a hero gets banned non stop, it doesnt matter what the winrate/pickrate/ if they are op or not…etc means

it just means people dont like playing into/with said character thus needing a rework/balancing

I try to think of characters I’d try to ban every game… but the truth is I’m probably going to go with ‘whoever I’m sick of seeing in games on that particular day.’

My ban list: All the low skill requirement heroes like Dva, Mauga, Junkrat, Moira, Orisa, Junker Queen, Lucio, and Mercy because she’s the bane of all matches with low IQ players.

i am usually sombra and i understand this hehe. same with doomfist players.

my top two played heroes are widow and sombra so im wondering if ill get to play them in comp much … if i do play comp lol…

I know this is probably? a joke but we have all assumed you HAVE to engage with the ban system.

although i think bans are a mistake if all ranks. should have copied rivals exactly and be in ONLY high ranks. forgot where it starts in rivals… diamond?

there will be a lot of backlash i think and it may happen if the devs notice. i think bans will become real unpopular if all ranks

Ana and Widow are my only bans. I can tolerate all the other heroes, just not these two.

well i dont play comp anymore regardless so i wouldnt actually be abstaining (though that would be yet another reason why i wouldnt)…but my understanding is you can abstain

You know, I’d almost say Genji, just so there’s no chance I get him into a team of beams or so I don’t have to hear “my ult is charging” every two seconds when there’s Ana on the team.

Ah yes, the standard excuse, but if I try to play D.Va into Zarya I’d get “tank diff”. Meanwhile, DPS can be Solder and McCowboy into same D.Va…

I can do that either way, the hack just tickles for a split second now. The actual problem wiht Hammond is he’s got very few maps that benefit him (they took away his best map - Paris).

The ban feature is all fun and games until onetricks make you lose the match even faster…

They should definitely add a “surrender” button next. If people are to play a hero they don’t perform well within the same role, and can’t even switch roles to play a hero from a different role, at least make “surrender” by voting possible (4 out of 5 votes to forfeit, for instance).

I’ll make this a specific thread, actually.

Seriously everyone, if you have the time give it a watch before the update wipes everything. It demonstrates exactly why I wish I could never have a Rein on my team again
