Its the great hypocrisy of Overwatch - you can run a Genji/McCree/Rein/Ana and so on all day and suck but run an “off-meta” even halfway and watch for the reports to flood in.

You have nothing to worry about if you don’t one trick. Flexing onto what the team needs is very important when playing Tank.

But that dude shouldn’t have been trying to witch hunt you though.

Busan is a fantastic map to play ball in, what are they on about?

People need to reread the report boxes. It literally says “not swapping isnt reportable”
Right now its super easy to scapegoat a tank because “well they didn’t go rein, report.” It doesnt matter how well you did on wrecking ball, or that the Road never swapped either. In their mind you told them no, so you are the reasom they’re losing.

That however is complete nonsense. Thats blantantly false reporting and you shouldn’t be doing it. That wrecking ball did nothing to you. Dont be petty because of your teammates.

Funny that you’d expect sympathy here on the forums for being falsely reported, while falsely reporting someone completely innocent on the matter.

Maybe you deserve your suspension after all. =p

I hope my report catches the attention of someone so I dont get reported for what I reported the other ball which isnt being reported for which should not be reportable but am being reported via false reports that lead to my eventual suspension again.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

The only thing we can change is ourselves. Start by staying off chat, voice and otherwise, you just piss other people off when you interact with others, if you’re not gonna comply with a switch request then the silent treatment is the best. Furthermore, don’t false report, there’s nothing to be gained by doing it except rubbing your ego.

If one is getting bodied as ball and not doing much, one should switch, even if the opposition has one—it could be that the enemy team is countering ball more effectively than your team is

Sometimes it is hard to tell what a tank is contributing, but like any tank, you need to stay alive, but also stay in the battle to open up space for the rest of the team—ball having no shield runs off a lot and that gets frustrating

I play mono Brig drunk and off chat, sometimes with no volume even, and I never got a single report or even “too many” avoids warning.

You’re not being reported for being off chat, you’re being reported because how you responded to other people triggered even more people. You’re being baited.

Don’t interact with people and you’ll be reported significantly less.

I do not approve trash talking. But I do not think well about players who absolutely refuse to swap while being countered by multiple enemy players, and their game consists of constant respawning and going in only to die.

If your pick works and you aren’t being actually countered despite the attempts, it’s all fine.
