More Tanks and Supports, less Damage

“Difficulty” is caused by catering to DPS.

Since you can’t have tank/support too good, or DPS will complain. But you also can’t make them too bad, or players won’t fall for this trap…sorry, won’t pick them.

It would make sense to not care too much about most expendable role, that has huge role queues, so even if they aren’t as fun to play, there still would be lots of players to pick them.

why do support players act like they have been locked on that role forever , you are a support player doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy a new DPS hero.

…because aiming is hard…

i don’t think every new dps is going to be a hitscan or projectile and aiming will be hard unless you put effort into making it better rather than trying it 1 time and telling yourself you cannot do it

So you’re saying we’ll get more Sym’s?

Because not everyone enjoys aiming, or killing enemies in general. Despite having decent aim.

person says not everyone enjoys aiming or killing

Ok, fair enough

person also says ‘despite having decent aim’

“I could conquer the world…if I wanted to…”  :upside_down_face:

O…K… fam… :upside_down_face:

Believe it or not, I played FPS for a while. However, I still do not enjoy aiming at fast-moving targets ,preferring to delegate that to automated turrets.

“hello fellow dps players…”
“I have decent aim but prefer to use a lock-on beam support hero…”

:upside_down_face:

Continue being stupid. Despite many players I killed in TF2 with shotguns, revolvers and even explosives, I always preferred more discrete approach.

Please refrain from personal attacks which are against forum CoC, thank you.

By having decent aim and using a hero with a lock-on aim? Solid logic! :upside_down_face:

Strange to hear it from someone, who started it.

Yes. I prefer heroes, that work reliably. As besides aim, there are other factors, that can mess with your shot, such as network latency.

I prefer stealth and silent attacks, rather than gunfire, explosions and screams.

…are you…a ninja? :fearful:

No, I am TF2 Spy. Genji is way too loud with his screams.

On supports I use similar approach - enemy shouldn’t know my current location for longer, than a few seconds.

You wear camo when you play OW don’t you? Ninja confirmed, stand back everyone… :fearful:

No, I just use covers.

Personally I find it weird, that heroes in Overwatch scream to announce their ults, and that Sombra speaks, when getting out of cloak. Won’t it make more sense to not warn everyone in 5 mile radius, that you just pressed Q?

…science suggests that swearing increases pain tolerance so it’s in the ball-park of logic that a ‘battlecry’ increases physical prowess…

There’s a YT’er that does OW cartoony videos and in one Sombra de-cloaks using a megaphone saying “LOOKING FOR ME?!” Hehe, reminded me of it…

…seriously though, you being stealthy support, hanging back just gonna get flash+fanned by my Cree, ninja or not.

Thank you.

Not really, as one never pinpoints my location.

You can’t kill something you can’t find, and obviously I am not going to stay in same place for too long.

It applies to stealth kills too - if you make noise(which you certainly would), by the time someone else arrives to check the disturbance, you should be long gone.

Mercy main, 10m from main tank or pocketing dps on high ground.

Beam dead give-away as Mercy players like to maximize stats even if it means giving away location.

Pink ninja, elimitated…

The end. :upside_down_face:

And that is why I stick with Pharah. Good luck killing me behind roof.

I am rather good at escaping such “surprises”. And to be fair, in TF2 it was much harder - run speed.
