No there made for other reasons just nobody’s has an ear to use for that other reason thusly why these types of threads spiral into chaos Arisora did something innocent and this community spit on them for it end of discussion

No really don’t bring lgbt stuff into a fictional game. It’s ok to want your rights to be respected but don’t make a character gay only to have a character that’s gay. If you want to include a gay character then it has to fit the story, to help us determine his motives.
Like personally I didn’t like it when they announced soldier to be gay as it really didn’t contribute to the narrative. Don’t make a character a certain way only for a small community of people and just a side fact

One day I hope you people realize that the gay characters these companies make are not because they like you. You’re a potential customer, and if making a random character gay gets your cash money, that’s enough for them.

We were told there were LGBTQ+ related people in Overwatch and everybody didn’t mind they only had a mind to hate once characters were revealed because oh hey I don’t like that decision and so on it’s awful

Not exactly true bliz may be greedy but that’s far from truthful characters being revealed part of the LGBTQ+ community isn’t a way to get cash if you haven’t seen this thread got enough hate as is

I’m not saying that gay characters are bad. I’m just implying that if they make a character gay only to make him gay and it has nothing to do with the story then that’s what I don’t like.

I think that kind of diminishes the LGBT content creators on video game dev teams. But that’s just me sis

True I actually forgot Vincent existed completely.
I mean, fair enough. I don’t play 76 enough to spam the spray and remind people. 
Vincent is to 76 as Emily is to Tracer, Ingrid is to Torbjorn/brigitte and gerard is to widowmaker. No one complains about the latter two for some reason, though.

I am straight.
I don’t need a straight OW hero for anything, specially being proud of myself.
I am male.
My main hero (and the one that I most relate to) is Mercy.
I am brony.
I don’t need a brony OW heroes to be proud about it.
I am brazilian.
I would not care if Lucio didn’t exist or had other nacionality.
Why do LGBT people can only relate themselves with someone who has the same sexuality as them? They can’t relate with anything but sexuality, this is being shallow as a puddle…

There are many LGBT people who disvalue themself due to their sexuality.
Most people, especially during their teenager years, recognize that being LGBT often gets related with negative things, such as gay being an insult.
That’s why at 1st many people are scared when they recognize that they are LGBT because the whole society mostly shows you that it is bad, and that is still happening today alot (just look at this thread, look at you).
Thus, increasing LGBT awereness in many daily life situation can, Psychologe agrees, lead to more acceptence, as people, the earlier they get confronted with something, tend to be more tolerant towards it.
And as always some people try to get it by showing to those who dont care what is their belief/representation, and just annoy people who are not agains them in general more than it need to be
We dont NEED LGBT hero, that hero should go natural with story not MADE for representation on its own. And to be honest? Would be more interesting if they would focus on something more connected to lore of the world than this, and thats Omnics.
