Yet Widow remains untouched even when even pros say she is OP.
Moira, reading all the “auto-aim” threads:
Are you finished?

The state of you.
lmao, omg, i’m dying here laughing at those players walking into the pit.
To all those who claim, “It’s not lock on.”
“Stupidity is not a right.”
I never felt her to be OP, UP maybe, but not OP. The only thing that is OP about her is her DPS output is way over the top for a main healer.
I’m honestly surprise they didn’t just give Moria’s primary to Symmetra. The old Symmetra primary was auto-lock where you have to run out of her raduis while she chases you. If Moria’s primary was given to Symmetra early on, it wouldn’t be as bad.
Either way, I find the current Symmetra fine.
The thought is mutual.
Moira is one of my top 5 dps heroes.
Their balance triangle is dev feelings, stats and player feelings. If two of those are out of whack then that hero gets nerfed.
Devs will never see her as overpowered cause most of them need a target to be standing still to hit. Still beyond me how tf they didn’t consider Brigitte overpowered during playtest cause there is absolutely no way one can’t see that.
They were probably working on new Hanzo at the time. Hanzo 2.0’s initial rework actually overshadowed even Brigitte. She didn’t become dominant until the support patch.

Actually him and Widow were the only things that could stop her lmao. But then goats turned her into a immortal indestructible being and the shields stopped Widow/Hanzo.
hehe well, if she ends up being nerfed further I guess we could use the same phrase, no?
That’s perfect for the player playing moira! Most of the players who have played moira most their lives have absolutely no awareness, mechanics, or gamesense! Yet they climb to high ranks with no difficulty!
No. Not really. She was played in dive in league when she was released without him. She did good but wasn’t dominant.
Her domination did not come until the support patch. The support patch killed off the Mercy+Zen combo, which killed off the various counterplay strategies against her while buffing her most synergistic combos.
Excuse me sir, are you implying that I should have to… gag … AIM? To kill something? What is this, CS:GO?
Yeah she’s not OP - but she is weird and requires some slight adjustment. you cant really fault people for wanting to solve a number of her issues. such as DPS Moria - little too easy to aim Moria - Normal healing spam is almost on Trans level. ya know. take a chill pill broslice, it’ll all be alright
uhm I think it’s possible, you see, when they playtest stuff, they do it with a goal in mind, as in, anyone who’s using an experimental hero gets told what they’re supposed to do and what is their place on a team, for example (and to bring the subject back) Moira
When they playtested her (this also applies to the blizzcon run when she was released) they established that Moira’s beam was strictly to recharge her healing and never to deal high damage over a long period of time, plus they also said that she was supposed to be a healer so everyone gravitated towards focusing on healing
I think the same kind of happened with brig, where testers were told that she was a squire type of character and so they played her next to a tank and trying to cancel dives as opposed to playing her as a battering ram…
But when a hero is exposed to millions of players and millions of combinations all of a sudden and there is no general direction but their role (which people didn’t respect either way), naturally the knowledge about the hero becomes exponential and everyone learns the ins and out of the hero way faster than what playtesters could

I know its tested like this. They go through interactions, see if everything is working perfectly etc… What bothers me tho, is the fact that they don’t try and test it into a real environment on a 6v6 match to see how things will work out most times.
