That’s true. However when you use COAL + YELLOW ORB = 215 hps
I happened to save my team several times with it, but that was before the power creep.

I think you brought up Mercy beam being able to go through shield. Mercy damage boost can lock multiple people and is a 30% boost meaning that it could go up to 91 damage per second or even a Orisa ultimate that does the same boost as a nano but without the defence or movement speed its OP even when it goes through a shield
Your orb won’t stay in that same spot the whole time, or it will be used up quick.
also using healing orb + coal is usually overkill and it won’t save people from grav dragon etc, so you’re just waiting your time if you orb + ult into a grav.

Yes, but it’s still nice quick HPS burst for a main healer. Like a mini transcendence.
It’s not Moira’s job to counter ultimates like trans and beat do.
That is not burst healing, burst healing is INSTANT. A full 1 second isn’t instant.
Ana’s rifle can shoot quicker than Moira can heal for 65. Ana can shoot 1.25 shots per second making her healing potential 93.75 per second.
Theres Baptise Lamp, if timed right when a genji blades and uses 2 slashes on the lamp, then moira can fade out and use ultimate to both heal the team and damage the genji.
Its kinda stupid how 3 ultimates cant break through plus if you have stuns on your team like mcree or sigma that can cut some time off genji
Wow it’s almost like it’s a support ultimate and it can heal people. 
You’d have the same issue even if it was Zen over Moira.
Stop blaming Moira, that is like going in with your ult and they have a Zenyatta ult waiting lol.

I don’t know… Why don’t you call INSTANT HEALING… just instant healing? Like old brig’s E or Ana’s nano.
Burst is a type of healing that is somewhat consistent and helps you mitigate huge portion of today’s DPS DMG. Like Reaper’s etc.
I didn’t say Moira’s primary fire is burst healing. Especially, not after the nerf.
it should do one or the other. It shouldn’t be able to do both with other perks.
The way the ultimate should have been made is that when youre using the ultimate if you left click then it shoots out a healing beam and if you right click it should shoot a damage beam like when she is without her ultimate
Do you know what Coalescence means? She can already do both just not at the same time, her ultimate makes a lot of sense if you know what Coalescence means.
Why would she ult for 140 HPS when she can do that with LMB + ORb? lol
Moira really is currently the broken character in OW; before it was Brig 1.0 thankfully you will never have to face that monstrosity.
But I warn you, the forum is about 50% Supports, and the “Moira Mafia” will come calling to tell you that all the issue surrounding Moira are just your lack of skill (not the fact her kit is ridiculously simply to employ for eliminations, damage and healing as Overbuff proves at all tiers).
You’re in for a ride, criticizing Moira brings out the worst in those who are addicted to the “hero for dummies” as the pros call her. you also cannot succeed in convincing them anything is the least bit wrong with Moira (but they will agree she needs “utility” as if she isn’t strong enough). Stats, videos, personal anecdotes and almost weekly threads on the topic… but according to Moira fans, everyone else is the issue

Yes I know but they need to rework the ultimate to a way that it doesnt allow new players to hit diamond like its nothing.
Like I said Im a new player and I played Moira for 5 of my games with 3-5 gold medals and Im in mid diamond
Shes just a broken hero when it comes to dps even when shes a good AOE healer

Weird, Moira’s pick rate drops significantly after gold. It would be lowere if Baptiste didn’t also get gutted, there is only 2 main healers right now, which is Moira & Ana.
If you think 50 DPS is a broken hero, then yikes lol.

They made Mcree broken to counter the GOATS comp, then they introduced role que and never reverted the mcree back
Weird, it’s funny how the season I got to GM playing Zarya and D.VA I actually had a 30% win rate as Moira. But sure, we’ll pretend that nobody who plays Moira deserves to be their rank.
Moira isn’t the reason you can’t climb.
Can’t you realize that Moira’s ultimate is they way it is, because she’s meant to do BOTH. She’s meant to pressure enemies while healing allies just so they can push that’s why she pierces barriers.
She has 0 utility whatsoever. You cannot nerf her ultimate or limit it to one thing at the time. You literally need Baptiste’s regenerative burst or Mercy to nullify Moira’s 70 DPS to a pitiful 20 DPS or 40 DPS. Not to mention when you have 2 healers in the match.
50 DPS, 20 metres range, unlimited ammo and self regen…that sounds pretty broken to me
its a shame when players like me and you moira with barely any experience of the game can hit higher ranks cause we play a hero thats doesn’t take a load of skill to play
