“In case you’re wondering how to spell Moira, it’s spelt OPAF.”

Except it’s pretty easy to get medals on Moira due to her tickle damage, if something dies after being hit by it she gets an elim. Damage is the only real hard one since her damage output is pretty limited.

I like her. She is a pure healer. Maximizing heals on her makes me feel great

they call that braindead heros

She’s pretty great at tearing apart uncoordinated teams. She wrecks people in Mystery Heroes because of that. She’s always my priority target when the other team has one.

that speaks more about the medal system beeing bad than the character beeing good

Yoiu don’t know what overpowered means.

How is one supposed to get good enough with those heroes to “play them properly” without picking them and playing them poorly as they learn?

Obviously I’m gonna be bad with a hero long before I get good with them. That’s how it works.

You are not getting gold healing and damage unless you’re the only healer on your team, you’re in bronze, your entire team is a sack of feeding potatoes or all of the above.

Moira should be getting a lot of eliminations and should be spending a lot of time on the objective.
But, as the hero with the honour of ‘lowest DPS’ you should not be getting gold damage unless you’re playing DPS Moira, in which case you are not getting gold healing unless you are, as stated above, the only healer.

And I shouldn’t need to say it but…

Gold medals are meaningless.
It’s the numbers beside them that are the actual measure of your effectiveness.
If your gold healing is below (as an estimate) 8,000 at the end of a Comp match as Moira, you were not doing your job properly or your team were gods/cowards. And let’s not forget self-healing inflates this stat.

I find this absolutely hilarious since Moira is considered one of the most balanced heroes at release alongside Ashe.

My pyramid of beliefs says that your pyramid of beliefs is wrong.

Well, I’m not so much saying you shouldn’t play them, but you shouldn’t judge relative hero strength based on a hero you can’t fully play yet.

So if Moira kills you as Genji, that’s not Moira being OP, that’s just you not being able to play Genji up to his potential. So don’t come in and ask for Moira nerfs based on it.
