It is so dumb, that she can do as much damage as some dps in the same amount of time. Damage ball + primary fire and you are dead in like 2 seconds. I think all the healers need damage reductions like this (coming from an ana, mercy main), and that is the point I’m trying to make.

Well, your healers should be able to outheal Moira damage, she does 50 DPS a second lol. And she heavily punishes out of position people.
Also going reaper is a nice idea, bait out her fade, then use your wraith form to catch up to her and pew pew pew in the head, she can’t survive lol, even if she uses a healing orb 
unless u can’t aim.

Even if she does damage ball and her ahem damage dealing secondary fire… she does 100 DPS. You know how many DPS heroes can’t hit that number? The answer is very very few of them… and the ones who can’t are the ones who you aren’t picking for their raw DPS anyway, like Mei.
The difference is her damage is impossible to miss with. You essentially have a 2 second timer to either kill her or find a way to escape/survive. It’s not a matter of numbers, it’s a matter of one side having to put disproportionately more effort than the other.

The problem with “your healers should be able to outheal moira” is that the healers were out there dpsing as well. And the escape ability I was using, is buggy so it didnt do what it was supposed to do.
Well that’s not Moira’s fault if your healers are not healing you, sounds like it’s the problem of your team mates lack of knowing when do DPS and when to heal.

That really depends on who you’re on.
It really doesn’t take crazy amounts of skill to run out from under the damage ball, plop down the bio field, and light up Moira’s face as Soldier 76.

1st: never stay in a corridor with Moira if you can’t aim
2nd: she’s good in 1v1, but a DPS Moira is easy to take down (play Pharah, Junk, Reaper, Hog, McCree, D.va etc etc and you will kill her easily)
Even with Mercy I can kill her faster than she kills me.
So this is a very specific issue for a very specific circumstance and has nothing to do with Moira’s damage output at all?
Nerfing the lowest DPS in the game won’t make your healers heal you or fix bugs.

Depends where you are. There are plenty of spaces in most maps where there isn’t room to get away from the ball in time. And not every gets a sprint and self-heal.

No, Moira is smart. :’)
Her design kinda is, Blizzard made a “baby’s first Overwatch hero” but apart from damage and healing she doesn’t have anything else. As you’ll climb you’ll be glad to see DPS Moira because in the enemy team it’s kind of a free win. Just stay with your healers and shoot at her.
Then switch to someone who does? There’s 16 heroes in the damage role. A lot of them can either burst her down or out sustain her.
Moira’s fine. She punishes overly aggressive flankers by making their high mobility much less of an advantage. Seeing as Flankers used to counter every single healer in the game… I’m glad she exists.
