Literally the only time I play Moira is when I’m having an off aim day with Ana, zen, or Baptiste and I’m getting bullied by a tracer or genji.
The only thing Moira has going for her is her self defense. She can fend for herself with less effort than most.
There’s little point running Moira instead of Bap who can just throw down immortality and who has fast charging, big zoning ultimate and actual firepower in his arsenal. While healing a ton at the same time.
And the maps where Moira can be used over Bap, are maps where you can’t or won’t group up enough for immortality to do it’s work and you want to play with a lucio and rush enemy team and maps with little or no verticality, like Oasis university.
And all of this only applies to Overwatch League, it’s still better to run Baptiste over Moira in ladder, just because the utility he offers, no matter how much they have nerfed it down >>>> everything Moira can offer.
Oh and Baptiste’s immo is the only true team counter to ana’s antinade after it gets applied, whereas Moira’s team just blows up because heals get denied. Which is another big factor.
The amount of times Immortality is literally the only thing standing between team wipe and being able to stabilise in high ranked games because enemy Ana yeeted anti-nade from miles away is insane. I’m not saying getting big nades isn’t a skillshot but… with Ana’s kit, anti-nade continues to be obnoxious and pushes down other support viability and has for a very long time.
Moira would be far, far more useful if anti-nade wasn’t so strong and 100% heal denial.

No offense but making a blanket statement about all content creators and streamers is not a good argument as 100% of a group never act the same way.
That’s like if I said “all OW players are kind and respectful people.” Sure there are some but clearly not all.

She needs so much more buffs (reverts) to be viable.
It’s true, even in Gold. Moira is a medal hog.
