Missing Sound Effects, Since like 10 patches ago

Missing sound effects such as the kill notification and voice lines. 10 or so patches later and a full installation, still not fixed. I sure wonder why Overwatch is dying golly gee wizz.

Hello Samories! If certain sound cues aren’t playing, particularly those related to enemy actions, let’s check some network options in-game. When certain options are enabled, the game will de-prioritize sound effect instructions to ensure positional and action information is being transmitted. In-game, go to Options > Gameplay and find the settings for Limit Client Send Rate and Limit Server Send Rate. Make sure those are both turned off. Best of luck in your adventures

I had exactly this problem, I solved it by uninstalling the sound drivers from my motherboard ( realtek 6.0.8787.1) and leaving the default Windows drivers.

The problem had to come from a conflict with the drivers.

@Nagatsu Can you help me out? Everytime I uninstall the realtek drivers they reinstall automatically!
