The majority of players in general.
Nobody liked doing no damage every 15 seconds. And most Moira’s didnt like hardly doing any damage plus the nerfs that affected the rest of the kit.
The devs listening to the majority doesnt mean the game is dying.
It was way too strong and gutted her entire kit to receive and also deleted her best duelist option in the process.
Was absolutely not worth it.
To be honest, the Necrotic Orb is cool and 100% needs to show up again on a new hero. It was just a very very poor fit for Moira and everything she’s about.
This 100%. The concept of reducing enemy damage is incredible but it really just did not fit Moira.
I feel like if we do anything with Moira, you guys will always react the same.

This exactly. Moira felt fantastic on the beta.
I regularly had 12k damage and 18k healing in game and low deaths. She felt great. Necrotic orb (and sj) felt so bad I didnt enjoy the end of the beta.

im not mad at the removal…but (it sounds like anyway) if theyre not even going to TRY to iterate on it…then yes that makes me mad…

Necrotic Orb is fine in a vacuum. Issue is that Moira, contrary to some’s opinion, is really close to balanced. She doesn’t need drastic changes. Her abilities are perfectly fine. The only thing I could ever see needing to be tweaked is her ult and that’s it. She is literally the only balanced dlc hero ever released.
