It’s true that Tracer is kinda running around wild right now, but mid rank Zens don’t have to worry a lot about a good dive because, well, mid ranks can’t pull off a good dive most of the time.
As for LW + Mercy, most of the time it’s a “win more” comp. They have to leave all the damage to the other members of the team, and in mid ranks, I would really not recommend doing that. I can’t rely on the DPS to do anything useful. Blue team will win the scoreboard game when it comes to healing done but when it comes to getting kills and achieving victory? Mmm, not so much, in my experience. Better if they swap.
I would drop zen to A tier raise Brig lifeweaver and Mercy up a tier to remove the d tier. There is no bad support I feel now that the dps passive is 15% instead of 20.
Swapping S and D tiers in lower ranks? Nope. Weaver and Mercy have the least amount of agency amongst all the supports, that is why they are the bottom of the barrel. To climb effectively, agency is paramount.
Not saying you can’t climb with mercy/weaver. Its just the other supports can more directly contribute to a W. Sustaining can only do so much, they are still relying too much on the team to get elims, utilize space, etc. Doing it yourself instead means a lot.
Regardless, tier lists for lower rank/qp is pretty dubious in my view. Even pointless maybe. The skill level of the player matters so, so much more than the hero’s inate power level. Imo.
Pretty good guess, but I personally would, put Kiriko in B tier with Ana, but other than that I agree with the list. If there is nothing to cleanse (mostly Ana), her value shrinks pretty hard.
I weighed putting Kiri in B. As I said, her Ult is still strong. Her flexibility is what really makes her great imo. Any comp, any map, she’s fine. That counts for a lot to me.
But yeah Suzu is a little weak right now, no arguments here. People still think (even in this thread) that cleansing the dps passive has value. It doesn’t. There is no added healing boost to suzu, and it immediately can be reapplied from primary fire. With a cooldown like dynamte or nade its different, that is great value. Not the case at all with the passive. (Speaking in general there, not specifically to you h1story )

My perspective on this tier list is for playing OW. Full stop. Rank does not matter, that is not part of the criteria I listed for this topic.
Do power levels of heroes go up and down according to what elo you’re in? Sure. In increments. I suppose. Where you draw the lines are fuzzy af to me, and always rife with context that’s not addressed.
Lets just say this is a tier list for players Bronze to GM. Top 500 is its own entity. I did not make this list with that in mind, but I honestly don’t think it really matters. The criteria I outlined applies no matter what the rank is. So.
Fair take too, Moira is fantastic right now, no question.
Zero utility keeps her from being S-tier imo. She can also have a difficult time against poke comps. On poke maps especially.
Still. It was very, very close for me, putting Moira in S or A tier. Her agency and burst healing/damage are stupendous, her burst is almost unrivaled on both ends of the spectrum. I’ll chew on that a bit I think, S might be the better choice for her.

Suzu is used for far more than just a cleanse. Since it also heals 80, and makes them invulnerable. Especially with mauga being the meta tank now, suzu is big for keeping him alive.
I actually think Tinkerbell herself isn’t any worse or better than she has been in seasons past. Its just that the game evolved in Season 9 and Mercy got knocked down cause of it.
Agency matters now more than ever for supports, I can’t emphasize that enough. And Mercy is at the bottom of the totem pole in that regard, sadly.
You could arguably move everyone up one tier but tbh I think so support is “s tier” based on your criteria.
Simply put, no support has the agency and carry potential or role power that a hero like tracer has in the dps roster.
If tank meta were to change I could see some of these moves around a bit- zen bumping up if poke etc, but dive/tracer is nearly incontestable at the moment and brig can’t even defend herself/co support from tracer/Winston anymore to any useful amount.
If dive were to be nerfed the tier list could potentially turn on its head- brig would be able to survive and do her job, thus the dive weaker supports would benefit from the nerfs compounded with the brig buff making them all far more consistent picks. I’d predict most supports ending in A/B tier if that occurred.
I would say Kiriko is mainly played to cleanse Mauga… because otherwise Mauga is not playable. Its such a stupid hero (Mauga) and I hate playing with or against them.
