Didn’t think of it from this angle - was assuming it would be the Xbox division that pulled out of UK market rather than Microsoft?
Surely if windows and the lot goes Britain will fall into ruin as things like NHS, business, even parts of the government itself use Microsoft products? Would that also open up Microsoft to legal action as there’s likely commitments and deals in place to provide services and the like?
I don’t see any of that being a likely outcome anyway and the regulatory board will change their stance under pressure but who knows.
Forza Horizon 5? Probably the pinnacle of its genre.
As for an ongoing GaaS: Sea of Thieves is incredible.
Even the Halo Infinite campaign was the best in many years and Hellblade 2 looks mind blowing. That’s without mentioning the likes of Fable, Forza Motorsport, Flight Simulator, etc. Game Pass is worth a shout too. It’s okay to prefer different platforms and titles but let’s leave console stirring and warring in the past where it belongs.
Halo Reach was great… have it on my 360… I meant a little more recently.

That game still going? Thought it died… really cool concept, but all the gameplay I saw of it was pretty rough.
Best in many years… in a franchise that was once epic and is now in the gutter. Please don’t bring up Halo Infinite, it breaks my heart.

Agreed. Sony puts out quality game after quality game. I think the last time I enjoyed an Xbox exclusive was Halo Reach in 2010.

Sea of Thieves is quite successful on steam. Why do you think Rare still makes content for the game?
I guess I meant something that compelled me to buy the current gen Xbox. Sony ropes me in every time with games I absolutely want to play, while current gen Xbox has not even tempted me in the slightest.
Blizzards financial display for Overwatch 2 has been really bad. With the selling of OWL to recoup some money…
I hope Blizzard makes big changes on the team to make the game better (as it should be) when activision steps in.
